We walk over to Marcus house and he's sitting on the porch on his phone.
We walk up to him and he stands up and puts his phone in his back pocket.
Marcus- "Hey, you ready?"
He asks Aiden.
Aiden- "Yup, I don't think I'll be able to get in though.."
Sofia- "No of course you will, you, even though you lost when we played together, are really good."
Marcus- "Yeah and also lots of our players graduated last year so we need some new people.."
He nodded and then we walked to the football pitch.
When we arrived there the boys had to go warm up and I saw Alice sitting on a bench right next to the field.
I went up to her,
Sofia- "Hey!"
Alice- "Hey, wait come here.."
I sat down next to me and she grabbed my arm and pointed at Aiden.
Alice- "Does he get cuter by day??"
Sofia- "Omg alice you obsessed.."
Alice- "But it would be the same for you if you weren't together with Marcus..."
Sofia- "Yeah but I am with Marcus, so.."
I took out a pack of sweets and threw it on her lap.
Sofia- "Here, some snacks for your entertainment.."
Alice- "Ok I'm all yours now. First of all how do you always have Swedish candy with you??"
Sofia- "I have my ways, but you know if you like Aiden so much you should try and get to know him."
Alice- "Yeah I was maybe thinking of sitting with him in the classes we have together.."
Sofia- "Yeah that's a really good idea because usually at the beginning of the year we always have to do a project about the people next to us to get to know them"
Alice- "Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking..."
The boys then start their tryouts and we continue chatting while eating candy.
--After tryouts-- (5pm)
The boys run towards us and Marcus takes a seat next to me.
Me and Martinus gasp and then i say,
Sofia- "How long has it been?"
Marcus leans his head back and says,
Marcus- "Oh my god.."
Alice- "Do they still do that??"
Marcus- "Yup, every single time and they never forget.."
We then continue,
Martinus- "Omg I don't know? Seems like forever!"
Sofia- "You've changed so much since I last saw you!"
Martinus- "Yeah and last time i saw you, you were this big!"
Marcus then put his hand over my mouth (as usual).
Marcus- "Guys just please shut up.."
I take Marcus' hands off me and then say,
Sofia- "Fine.. but you know that's where we usually stop.."
Marcus- "Yeah but with you two you never know if you made some more parts..."
We chat for a while and then Martinus sees the empty pack of candy.
He picks it up and says,
Martinus- "I thought we were friends... you ate the whole pack without me!!!"
Marcus- "No more importantly without MEE!!"
They're both standing next to each other with their arms crossed.
I went in my pocket and threw the pack at them.
Martinus grabbed it first and then Marcus did and it went on for a while until I stood up and took the pack.
Sofia- "You guys have to share it.."
Martinus- "But it's too good to share.."
I threw the pack at Martinus and then said,
Sofia- "Marcus come here.."
He came with me and I said,
Sofia- "If you let Martinus have that pack, I have more at home so you can have a whole one to yourself.."
He kissed my cheek and said,
Marcus- "That's one of the reasons why I love you.."
Sofia- "I know I'm so loveable..."
He chuckled and then we went back to the others.
Martinus was eating up the candy while Alice and Aiden were talking.
Wait! let's see if they get together what would be their ship name??
(Comment what you think should be the ship name!)
Anyway, I sit back down next to alice and Aiden says,
Aiden- "Are you guys always like that just because of candy.."
Me, Marcus and Martinus all gasp and Martinus says,
Martinus- "This is not just ordinary candy.."
Marcus- "Yeah its Swedish candy.."
Sofia- "The best candy in the world.."
Aiden- "Is there a difference though? To like every candy in the world??"
We all gasp again and Marcus says,
Marcus- "Sorry dude we can't be friends if you've never tried it.."
I then take the packet from Martinus and give one of it to Aiden.
Sofia- "Come on you have to try it."
He looks at Alice and says,
Aiden- "Is it really amazing?"
Alice- "Yeah I'm on their team, trust me you won't regret it."
He then eats it and we all stare at him..
After he finishes it, we all wait for his answer.
Aiden- "Shit that's good.."
Alice- "See.."
Martinus snatched the candy bag from me and said,
Martinus- "Well your not getting any of mine.."
He then sits down on the bench on my seat, so I have no space on the bench..
I go next to Marcus (who's sitting at the end of the bench) and lean on his shoulder.
Sofia- "Marcus.."
He leans his head back to see me and says
Marcus- "Your not getting my seat, but you can sit on my lap.."
Sofia- "Yay!!"
I sit on his lap (kind of sideways so my legs are on his side and I can see what's happening)..
And we all chat for a while. Then Aiden said,
Aiden- "Well I have to go now because I promised Ava that I would play with her today and if I don't she's gonna get angry.."
We all laughed and then he left.
I move around on Marcus (since I'm still on his lap) to get comfortable and he puts his arms around me.
Sofia- "You know what this reminds me of.."
Alice- "What??"
Sofia- "All of us, the day before we started school last year. We were all here in the football field chatting about how we didn't want to go to school.."
Martinus- "Oh yeah. Don't you think last year was much more simple?? Like this year seems that it's going to be much harder.."
Alice- "It's like that every year.. it's gonna get harder until we graduate.."
Sofia- "Yup and then theirs college.."
Marcus- "Sometimes I wish time could just stop.."
Martinus- "Yeah, or rewind time to a place where we had less work..."
Marcus has now moved his arms and so one of them is on my lap.
I fiddle with his hand and then he whispers in my ear.
Marcus- "I don't want to rewind time because then you won't be mine."
I smile and look at him. I then whisper back.
Sofia- "Me neither.."
We continue chatting but we all had to go at 6.
Alice went home, since she lives in the other direction and then me, Mac and Tinus headed home.

And also thanks for all the support that everyone is giving me. I've been reciving multiple messages how they say that my books are really good and I really appreciate it.
It shows to me that what I'm doing is not just a waste of time (and also proves my brother wrong for doubting me 😂).
Also if you read my best friends brother I might not update that often because I really wanna finish this book since I have a lot of ideas for other ones!! And in the summer it's quite hard to find time to write.
