*Next day*
I stood on the bottom of the stair case, peeping around the corner to see if my mom was in the kitchen.
This morning, me and bryson decided that we should tell my mom, derek, and bryson grandma about the news.
I knew my mom was going to EXPLODDEEEE.
but i had to tell her sooner than later.
Bryson stood behind me on the stair case.
Bryson:she in there??(whispering)
I peeped around the corner a little bit, trying to see my mom.
but it was worse.
My mom, derek, brysons grandma, and brysons Aunt all was in the kitchen.
Hensley:its a lot of people in there bryson(nervous)
i started to become scared, mainly scared with that everybody was going to think.
I was only 17, and bryson was 18 about to be 19.
we was to young to have a baby, let alone be parents.
Bryson:Baby take a deep breath...everything gone be ok....we have to tell them.
I nodded.
Me and bryson both took each others hand, and headed into the kitchen together.
as we did, everybody looked at us smiling.
Nana:wonder when you to was going to wake up(smiles)
Hattie:Exactly....(laughing)
Derek:i want to know why was bryson sleeping upstairs anyway....aint your room downstairs??(laughing)
Bryson laughed, knowing derek was playing.
derek knew bryson more than anybody else in the house.
derek was more of a father figure to bryson, and talked to him about any problem he had.
so derek know bryson always snuck up to my bedroom in the middle of the night.
Bryson:you right(laughs)
Hensley:Listen everyone, me and bryson have something to tell you
Hattie:your not getting married are you?(Nervous)
my mom eyes became wide.
all i could do was laugh.
Hensley:No mom were not getting married, well at least not now...but ummm its bigger than that
Nana:well stop stalling and just spill it out
I took a deep breath before saying a sentence i was scared to say my whole life.
Hensley:Mom....Im pregnant
as i said that my mom almost fainted alone with brysons grandma.
derek caught them both.
Hattie;I know you didnt just say what i think you said(mad)
Nana:how can y'all be so stupid(mad) i mean just stupid stupid stupid.....
Hattie:Do you know how old y'all are?? You not even in college yet Hensley....Bryson your about to leave for Miami and you getting pregnant??(mad) Your only 17 years old Hensley...how can you be so dumb??
Tears started to form in my eyes as i heard everyones reaction.
i knew they was going to be mad, but not this mad.
Hensley:Mom im sorry i didnt even mean for this to happen it just.....happened(mad)
Hattie:How it just happen like magic Hensley??? Thins don't just happen....Making a baby takes 2(mad) How you gone dance?? how you gone go to school with a belly and having people talking about " thats the girl with the baby" huh??(mad)
Derek:Hattie calm down....Hensley, what your mom is just saying is you should've been more aware thats all....but since the baby is here we can't do nothing but be here for them ok hattie?? Nana??
Bryson:Look....dont speak to soon y'all....this is my family, and ima take care of hensley and our baby regardless....ok?? y'all don't have to worry about a thing...
Hattie:Well i hope y'all ready for this....because this is a huge responsibility
Nana:Exactly....because with bryson being gone you gone be by yourself Hensley....Remember this is y'all decision, and yall child
Bryson:And my family....i got us
Bryson looked at me, and just by staring in his eyes i knew he meant every word that he was saying.
i knew he was sure everything was going to be fine.....
but i wasnt sure everything was going to be fine....

Autumn:i can believe ima be a aunty(rubs hensley belly) Hey beautiful(smiles at belly)
Hazel:I can't believe your having a little you and bryson running around...if anything i thought ill be the one to get pregnant before everybody
i just shook my head and laughed.
right now we was out at the mall, shopping.
Since bryson is leaving within a week we all decided to go to the beach for the next few days he was here ad turn up.
so we decided to come out and get some outfits.
Teyana:if its a boy what you gone name him??
Hensley:I don't know...bryson wanted to name him Bryson Jr, or his Middle name Dajuan
Autumn:what about a girl??
Hensley: Harley
Hazel:thats so cute(smiles) i wonder what features of your the baby gone have
all day all the girls could talk about was me having a baby.
and the more they talked about it, the more real it became to me that i was pregnant.
Hensley:i just can't believe im pregnant
Autumn;girl i can't either......so what you and bryson going to do about the arrangements?? you know he gone be gone for 9 months??
Hazel;i don't know how y'all can do that....9 months is a long time
Hensley:i don't know.....i mean he's coming back for the baby showers, and birth but thats it....hes going to miss doctor appointments, me picking out clothes for the baby, painting the babies room and even finding out the sex of the baby.....Hes literally going to miss everything
i looked down as we started walking in a clothing store in the mall.
i was kind of down that bryson was leaving.
i didnt want him to leave at all.
but i guess he had to.
Autumn:look boo...i know its hard, but it will get better
Hensley:how though?? He's literally going to be missing out my life for a year
teyana:right....Peanut got to go for this Dj this with DJ khaled down in miami for a whole 7 months...that means i can't even come visit....how is that easy??
Autumn:listen y'all.....Quees is going away for college next month. Which means this will be the first time in 2 years that me and him are apart for more than a week. You think im not gone miss him?? Thats why we have FaceTime, calling, texting, and im going to visit him once a month.....Im not gone lie there will be nights i cry about him being next to me....but its all worth it at the end.....Hes moving me down with him when he gets Drafted into the NFL and then ill be with him all the time.....yall have to remember it takes time
i was feeling what Autumn was saying and all, but still doesn't change the fact bryson won't be here with me.
as we kept talking, and looking at clothes i looked and saw autumn and hazel laughing.
i was confused to what they was laughing at.
Hensley:What y'all laughing at??(confused)
Hazel:look like you got a secret admire(smirks)
hazel pointed behind me, and i turned around seeing a guy walking up to me in the store.
he was tall, light skin, had tattoos, and kind of remind me of a light skin tyrese.
Hensley:may i help you??(confused)
Brian:Sorry, but you just so sexy i had to come in and say something
Hensley:im flattered, but i have a boyfriend
the guy sighed in a sad way.
brian:damn, well let dude know he a lucky one
as the guy said that, he grabbed my hand and before i could yank it out his hand, he kissed it.
Brian:Have a nice day(winks at hensley)
he walked out the store, leaving me there in shock.
no he didnt just kiss my hand??
I turned back around, and saw Autumn, Hazel, and teyana smirking at me.
Hensley:what??
Teyana:Seems like you still got it girl(Snaps fingers)
Hensley:whatever(laughs)
Autumn:ill be flattered if a dude walked up to me, let me still know im sexy
Hensley:the only dude i want to walk up to me is bryson(sticks out tongue)
Hazel:well bryson cute, so don't be surprised when girls come up to him like boys come up to you in Miami...you know Miami full of hoes
