S.Coups' POV
We were about to finished our breakfast when I counted them.
"1, 2, ... 11 is me. 12 is.."
Wonwoo hurriedly ran to their room to wake Mingyu up. That kid is going to be late.
"We're going now. Wonwoo will stay here to wait for you." I said.
"No. I'm sorry Gyu but I don't want to be late. I'm going with them bye!" - Wonwoo
"IT'S ALRIGHT! I'M FINE, GO AHEAD AND SEE YOU AT SCHOOL LATER." Mingyu shouted inside the bathroom.
"Hey Wonwoo, why didn't you wake him up when you woke up?" I asked.
"I wake him up but he said 5 minutes more so I went to the bathroom to take a bath and when I'm done, I forgot to wake him up again." - Wonwoo
"What were the two of you doing last night? You were too noisy in your room, I can't sleep." - Woozi
"Nothing, really." - Wonwoo
"Better be quiet next time so you won't disturb the others." - Joshua
We arrived at school and we separated our ways to our class.
Third Person's POV
Mingyu ran upstairs to his class because it was already 7:45 in the morning, he was 15 minutes late. He opened the door and said,
"I'm sorry I'm late."
"Just go to your seat." Their teacher said.
He looked at Chae Min's seat but she was not there.
"The8, where is she?" He whispered to The8.
"I don't know. When we've got here, she's not on her seat. Maybe she's absent." The8 whispered back.
Where are you? Mingyu asked himself.
Lunch Break.
The maknae line waited for their hyungs in the cafeteria.
"Where are they? I'm hungry." Dino said while looking for them.
"There they are." Seungkwan said while pointing at them.
It was only Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi, Jun, Mingyu, DK & The8.
"Where is S.coups hyung, Jeonghan hyung & Joshua hyung?" - Vernon
"They said that they need to organize something so they will be late." - Hoshi
"And Chae Min is absent." - DK
"Says who?"
"Says me?" DK replied and when they looked back, they saw Chae Min in her shirt & jeans outfit.
"Where have you been?" - Mingyu
"Why didn't you attend the morning class?" - DK
"Why aren't you in your uniform?" - Woozi
But she didn't answer their questions instead she started to buy food. She started eating but the guys just kept on looking at her.
"Noona, this is the first time you eat with us and I'm happy." - Seungkwan
"I promised someone to eat lunch with you so I'm here." - Chae Min
"And who was it?"
Chae Min just stared at her brother for a second and then she continued eating.
Jeonghan with Joshua and S.coups sat on their seat and they started to eat.
"So tell me, who was the guy you made a promise with to eat lunch with us today?" - Jeonghan
S.coups looked at Wonwoo and Mingyu.
"Maybe this two need to tell us something." S.coups said while smirking.
"It's really not important to know who he is." - Chae Min
After a few minutes..
"I'm done." - Chae Min
"I'll go with you." - Joshua
Chae Min went inside the girls locker room to change her clothes and Joshua waited for her outside.
Back to the Cafeteria.
"Jeonghan hyung, why didn't she attend the morning class?" - Seungkwan
"Oh, about that? She went to the orphanage she usually visit back then. She always give the children gifts and the orphanage donation." - Jeonghan
"Really? So Chae Min-ssi is not that bad." - Jun
"I think so. I'm glad it didn't change the fact that she likes kids." - Jeonghan
"Wow, hyung tell us more something about her." - Seungkwan
"She loves dogs, she didn't like chocolates that much." - Jeonghan
"Mingyu likes dogs too." - Wonwoo
Mingyu glared at Wonwoo that made him quiet.
"Why did Joshua hyung accompany her?" - Woozi
"Yeah. They look like a couple, Joshua hyung was holding her hand when we first met her yesterday, Joshua hyung ran to follow her before and now he went with her back to the building." Vernon said.
"I think Chae Min likes his companion." - Jeonghan
"I'm jealous." Hoshi said after drinking his juice.
They all looked at him.
"What? I want to be close to her too." He continued.
"Hyung, all of us wants to be close to her but I think Joshua hyung is going to be the first one to achieve that." - Dino
"No. She's my classmate so I'm going to be the first one who will be close to her." - DK
"So this will be a battle for us, 95 & 96 liners vs. 97, 98 & 99 liners. Joshua and Hoshi will going to be our representative. Jeonghan is out of course but we have him to give us more information about her." - S.Coups
"It's unfair!" - Dino
"It's fine, so Me and DK hyung is going to be our represent---" - Seungkwan
"If I'm going to choose, I'll choose Mingyu over you." - Wonwoo
Seungkwan stared at Wonwoo for a second after that he put his hand on his chest.
"That hurts. You hurt me!" Seungkwan acted like he was going to cry.
"Hey Wonwoo, you're in our group." - Woozi
"So hyung, why did you choose Mingyu hyung instead of Seungkwan hyung?" - Dino
"Why did I choose him instead of Seungkwan? Just because, he was the one Chae Min made a promise on the phone with."
"So.. that's why.." - S.coups
"She ate with us today." Vernon continued what S.coups was saying.
Joshua's POV
"Why are you still here? You will going to be late for your next class." Chae Min said after changing her clothes to uniform.
"Someone is being worried?" I joked.
"I don't want to be your reason when your teacher ask you why you're late." She said.
"I'm just kidding. Anyway, can I walk you home after class? I will tell Jeonghan about it later."
She looked at me with her usual poker face.
"K." She replied shortly.
"So see you later then." I went to the other side of the hallway and she went to the other side.
I can't believe I made her say yes. Definitely not yes but I will walk her home later and she's fine with that. I'm really happy about it. I want to know her more and I want to know her past.

Class dismissed. I will make her smile with me today.
"Why are you smiling?" - Jeonghan
"Jeonghan, I'll walk Chae Min home. I already asked her and she said okay." I said.
"You made her said yes? What's going on?" - Jeonghan
"That was fast. You know, I made a challenge for us. You and Hoshi is the representative of the hyungs while the maknaes representative are DK and Mingyu." - S.coups
"Whoever is the first one to get closer to my sister is the winner." - Jeonghan
"How about the loser?"
"I'll think about the punishment." - S.coups
"Look, I'm doing this because I want to not because of that. I need to go."
I went straight to Class 2-A and I saw her looking at the window while DK and The8 were fixing their things. I looked at Mingyu who was busy typing a message on his phone.
"Chae Min!" I called her.
"Hey Joshua hyung, you're not allowed here! Shoo!" - DK
I'm not allowed here? Since when?
She looked at me and said, "Let's go."
They looked at me confused.
"Where are you going?" Mingyu asked.
"I'll walk her home."
"Wait what?!" - DK
I ignored DK because we need to go now.

While we were walking I asked her,
"Chae Min-ssi, since when I'm not allowed in your room?" I asked.
"Don't know." She answered me shortly again.
"You know, you really don't like to say longer than 6 words in a day." I said and laughed.
"I don't feel like it." She said.
"You preferred to be quiet than to talk and get to know others more."
She stopped walking when I said that. We were in front of a park. She walked towards the bench and sat there so I followed her.
I saw an ice cream parlor and asked her if she wants one but she said no.
"You know, too much sweets in your body can make you fat." She said while looking at the clouds.
"I know." I looked at her and smiled.
"Do you have a problem? You can tell me maybe I can help you." I saw it in her eyes, something was bothering her.
"Do I?" She said still looking at the clouds.
"Maybe? You are not smiling since we've met. I wish I can see you smile soon." I looked at her.
I'm serious.
"Why do people need to smile even they are not happy? Even though they are not okay? Do smile can change a thing?" She looked at me.
"Because a smile is the prettiest thing a girl can wear." I slightly smiled.
She looked away and I saw a tear fell from her eye.
"Hey are you okay?"
She wiped it and stood up. "Let's go."
I pulled her closer and hugged her.
"If you can't tell me this time, I will wait. Don't try to stop your tears, let them fall. If you still want to stop it, it will hurt you more. You can cry now, no one will know about it." I said trying to comfort her.
So she silently cried while I was hugging her. This was the first time a girl cried on my shoulder. I said I will make her smile but I made her cry instead, stupid Joshua.
I let her go but she was still sobbing. I gave her my handkerchief because she didn't have one. Her eyes and nose was red, how cute.
"Hahaha." I couldn't stop it so I laughed.
She looked at me.
"I'm sorry, your nose was red. And you look so cute that's why.."
I was surprised when she hugged me again.
"I know, it's always like this when I cried and I don't want Jeonghan to see it." She let go of me.
She smiled at me and said,
"Thank you Jisoo."
She smiled. A real one.
After her eyes and nose were not reddish anymore, we continued walking until we arrived at their house.
"So.. are you alright now?" I just want to make sure.
"Yes. Thanks again, you want to go inside?" She asked.
I want to but the guys were waiting for me.
"No, they are waiting for me at the dorm. Maybe next time I'll eat dinner with you here. I'm going now, bye." I waved at her.
"Bye! See you tomorrow Jisoo!" She smiled at me again before she finally entered their house.
At the dorm.
Third Person's POV
The time when Joshua arrived at their dorm, his friends were looking at him, it was obvious that they were waiting for him.
"So what happened?" - Woozi
"How was it? Did she tell you something?" - S.coups
"No and nothing happened. I brought her home, that's all." Joshua simply replied.
"So why it took you an hour to bring her home?" - Wonwoo
"It's not important why. Guys, I need to tell you something." - Joshua
"What?" They asked in unison.
"Let's make her happy."
