Chapter 10
~Hiccup P.O.V.~
"Hey you! Don't come any closer! We're armed! My sister's got her bow, he has his uhmm... stick.. And I.. uhh.. I've got my... my FRYING PAN! And uhh... I'm not afraid to use it! This weapon of mine is deadly! It literally knocked out one guy this very day!"
'Is she for real? Frying pan? Deadly? I didn't had an idea that cookery can be deadly.. Are these guys clowns and was that girl joking? Cause I'm pretty much laughing right now.. xDD' I thought for myself.
I peeked from the leaves of the bushes and was surprised to see familiar people. ' What!!?!! O.O' I saw the boy who can fly and the two girls with silly hairs. 'These are definitely not clowns and she's not joking at all. They're the ones who shot Toothless' I thought.
"I've just got three things to say. Two for you Punzie and one for that guy or thing behind the bush." The guy said. "One, dude she's right! It's freakingly deadly! Two, it's not a stick. It's a staff. And three, "HE" has a name you know..."
"Not now Jack. We're in a middle of something. And that includes you." The pink girl said.
'Huh! Wonder these guys have food to eat.' I said to myself.
"Show up you coward! Or else I'm gonna shoot you!!" O__O I heard the curly haired girl said. She's pretty much violent! She reminds me of Astrid so much. Well, I hated Astrid back then.. (A/N: uhh... If you were wondering, Astrid and Hiccup were still not friends the moment he left Berk..) She was all fierce, kind of like this girl.. And I hated HER too, for attacking Toothless..>.<
I decided to show up in order not to get myself shot by her arrows. "Okay! Okay! Don't shoot! I'm just an innocent traveller!" I said while showing myself to them and I gave them a weird look. I'm pretending that I haven't met them ever before. Well they didn't know me anyways...
"Oh." The pink girl relaxed. "You're just a human. Sorry about that. We thought you were some sort of beast."
"Well practically, I'm not."
"So we've seen." The green one said. She IS fierce.
"So what's your name? If you could ever hear me..." The blue boy said.
"I'm Hiccup. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III and yes I can hear you. Why can't I?" I told and looked at him oddly.
"Y-you CAN see me?" He got O.O... What is he talkin' about? I'm not blind!
"Of course! Are you making fun of me?"
"I'm not... Just--- ugh! Never mind.. Forget I said that." Then he went to the blonde girl.
"You've got a pretty long name there Hiccup." The curly haired girlie told me.
"Uhh...yeah.. you don't think of it as weird?"
"Nope." She said then smiled. I take everything I said about her. She's kind and definitely different from Astrid. She's fierce but gentle too.
She took away her bow and held out her hand. "I'm Merida DunBroch." Then I shook her hand. Her hands were soft. Very soft.
"Nice to meet you Merida." She smiled again then pointed to the pink girl.
"That's Rapunzel and this is -" She was cut off by that blue guy.
"Jack. Jack Frost is the name." He held out his hand and I shook it. It was as cold as ice!
Did he just say Jack Frost?! So that explains everything. The flying, staff, blue sweater, silvery hair, pale skin, and VERY VERY COLD hands!! O.O I'm not surprised though. I know so much about him.
"What are you doing with your hands guys?" Rapunzel asked. Doesn't she know anything about a handshake?"
"It's called a handshake Punzie." He said. Punzie? Maybe it's her nickname.
"Oh ok." Then she turned to me. "I'm Rapunzel. Guess you already knew it from Merida."
"I guess so." I held out my hand towards her. You know for handshake. She didn't still don't seem get it.
"Uhm, this is where you shake my hand." I whispered to her.
"Why?"
"To greet people especially to those you have just met."
"Oh." She chuckled then takes my hand and shakes it. Fast. Weird girl with weird hair she is. O.o I then went to Jack.
"Jack Frost huh? My dad told me a lot about you when I was young. So apparently, I'm not surprised." I told him.
"That's inspiring." Jack smirked. "So what brings you to the forest Hic?"
"Hic?" I eyed him.
"I just thought of giving you a nickname just as I gave Rapunzel her nickname Punzie and Merida .." He glanced at Merida and saw her looking at him furiously.
"Don't even think about it." She readied her bow.
"Ok. I won't say it." Jack then rolled his eyes.
"Well, Hic is fine... Yeah... You can all call me Hic." I said.
"Okaayy... So again. What brings you to the forest Hic?" Jack repeated his question.
"I was just looking for food."
"Alone? Here?" Rapunzel asked.
"Actually I'm with my p-... P-Pal!" Great Odin! Good thing I didn't blurted 'pet dragon'...
"Where's he?" Merida asked.
"He's wounded so I just let him stayed somewhere behind those trees." I pointed to where I exactly left Toothless then turned back to them.
"Why didn't you say so? I know how to heal wounds." Rapunzel bursted.
"Shush! Rapunzel! What're ye doin?" Merida hissed.
"It's okay Merida.. I'm sure we can trust them." Trust us? With what??
"What do you mean Punz?" Jack asked but she just ignored him.
"Take me to him." She demanded.
"Follow me. But don't be startled nor run away. Okay guys?"
"Why on Mor'du's head would we run away?" Merida asked.
"Just, don't." Mor'du?? Who's Mor'du? o.O This guys are so weird...
"Okay." She said.
I led them to where Toothless was and they were all behind me. Clearly, Toothless came running towards me. Then I heard Merida and Rapunzel screaming.. Oh Thor! They broke my eardrum!!! >.< I turned and saw Merida loading her bow.
"Oh there's no need for that." I told her.
"What? Ye insane? That's the dragon who nearly killed us just before we met you!" Killed? We didn't plan to kill them.. We just lost control!
"Listen, he's my pet dragon, Toothless. I was riding on him the moment you shot him with an arrow." I eyed at Merida and she got guilty. Huh! Not so brave now isn't she? :D "And he's the one I wa telling you about. My PAL..." I glanced at Rapunzel.
"Woah.. Hold on there Hic. Are you telling us that you would want Punzie to help you heal that beast??! Oh no! She's definitely not going to do that!! x(" He's overprotective with Rapunzel. Are they...? Well, I just think Jack is Rapunzel's boyfriend. Hmmm... Maybe that's why he is overprotective.. Aha..! xD
"I can't believe I'm actually saying this but he's right. I can't let my sister do her thing." Merida added. Wait. Did I just hear the word 'sister'? That explains the hair. And what does she mean about 'her thing'??? THINGS ARE GETTING ODDER AROUND HERE... O__O
"It's okay Merida, Jack. I can manage. I'll just knock his dragon out of my frying pan whenever he gets wild. xD" Rapunzel laughed. Haha.. I got LOLed with that. Merida and Jack just eyed me as if they were saying ' you better watch over her Hic '.... I widened my eyes and went to Rapunzel.
"Uhh.. Maybe you can just leave him. I don't think they're agreeing about this." I whispered to Rapunzel.
"Are you kidding? This is my speciality! This is gonna be easy!" Se said. Then I just moved backwards to Merida. Merida gave me the look. I didn't mind her at all... I don't wanna see her in her bad side. I'm a dead duck!
Rapunzel went to Toothless' tail and wrapped it with her hair.
"What is she doing??" Jack and I hissed to Merida in unison.
"Let's just say her girl power shows up." She just smiled looking at Rapunzel.
"Girl power?" And Jack and I asked her AGAIN at the same time....
"You know what? Why don't you just watch and learn??" She told us.
Jack and I exchanged faces then observed Rapunzel, whatever it is she's doing.. -_-
She started singing a song then her hair glowed from the top of her head. O__O AWKWARD.... Her hair kept glowing until it exactly reached the very tip of it. She was still singing then. I looked back at Jack and saw he was just as shock as I am. Merida was just calm. I looked at Jack again and saw him bit his lip then he rushed to Merida. I'm guessing he's gonna ask about the hair.
"I know I'm not suppose to ask but.. HER HAIR ACTUALLY GLOWS! HOW DOES HER HAIR ACTUALLY GLOW!!!!! (O 0 O)" Jack shook Merida by her shoulders and she got irritated.
"Let go of me will you!" He lets go of Merida and just stared at her as if he wants his question answered. Even I want to hear it. So I stepped close to her. She glanced at both of us then she just rolled her eyes not answering Jack's question. Fine. If she doesn't want to tell, then let her be. -_-
I stared at Rapunzel again and saw a frog? or lizard? coming towards her. She finished the song and her hair stopped glowing.
"You wanna help me untie this Pascal?" I think the green frog was her pet.
Just after they unwrapped her hair, Jack grabbed Rapunzel by her hand and flew up high in the air. I think for interrogation..
I went to Toothless and saw his tail was healed. My eyes were just wide in shock. Then Merida came towards me.
"Not quite what you've expected aye?" Merida said.
"Yeah.. Is she a healer or something?" I asked her.
"Kinda. She can heal any living things' wounds. She also has the ability of aging control."
"Control aging process?"
"Yup! But only she and mother can use that power actually. Whenever she sang that song mother becomes young and beautiful on the outside."
"Cool." I said.
"Yeah.. I thought you might say that." She looked up at me and smiled. Then I smiled back.
She went away and sat down on a big rock. We waited for Jack and Rapunzel to come down. It took around 2-3 minutes.. -_-
