Chapter 29

~Merida P.O.V.~

Oh shoot! Where are my arrows!?? That darn Pitch Black sure knows my weaknesses.. -sighs-

“Ow.” Somebody groaned. I turned around and saw….. Jack?

“Jack! Ye idiot! How dare ya let yerself trap in tha’ cage?” I whisper-shouted yet he didn’t seem to hear me..

“Ughh. Oh my head!” Jack complained once more.

“YOU FROSTBITE!! WAKE UP!” I popped the letter P.

“Aaah! Merida! Is that you? Oh my staff, it’s you!” Uhh.. Of course it’s me. Duh… *whale-face* “Where are the others?” Jack snapped out. “W-where’s Rapunzel??!!” Now, he’s freaking out.

“Screw it Frost! She’s behind you!” I shouted.

He turn around completely lost his nerve. When he found her in another cage at the back of his, he frowned. I did too.. I knew what his face meant..

We’re all caged. And so are the guardians. I looked around the halls and there.. I see the others caged too but they aren’t awake.

I sighed “Arrows ‘r’ no use for theys Jack. Neither yer staff. Nor Bunny’s boomerangs, North’s double sowrds, Tooth’s mini fayries, not even mah sistah’s frying pan.” I said with total dismay.

Jack chuckled. “I know. But we shouldn’t lose hope Merida. MiM has plans!” He said.

“You meyn tha’ round moon? THAT’s going to save us? Yeah right.” I said. I can’t trust that a moon can ever take us out of this cage. I mean.. Does a moon even capable of doing that?

“Trust me Merida. You don’t know how many great things MiM can make. Things will work out just fine. Unless we’ll all die.” He said. Oh come on! I thought he was going to give me the courage to have hope! Seriously, I can’t believe this guy.  “Oh. I was just trying to get your attention. Haha.”

“Being stuck here isn’t funny Jack.” I said.

Jack quit joking around for the whole hour and made us even more.. well.. DOWNCAST! Until..

“Hiccup!” I shouted.

“Finally! Someone having nightmares of her loved one.. Mm.. Merida? Huh?” Jack laughed.

“ Very funny Jack. But that’s not what I’m thinkin’.”

“Then what is?” He asked. I talked to him but he was like absent-minded.

“Haven’t ye noticed? Hiccup’s not ‘round ‘ere. Which means to say--” Jack cut me off.

“Merida! Hiccup’s not here!” He suddenly shouted. He left my mouth opened back there.

“Didn’t ye hear me? I juzt said tha’ few seconds ago!”

“Woops. Sorry. Wasn’t paying attention. Ah-b-But we’re going to that later!”

“Well, any idea? On how to get out of THIS?” I gestured to the cage.

“Nope. If only I had the staff.”

“What? Ye’re going to freeze the cage? How will you get out of it Flee-brain? Haha.” I laughed and made Bunny wake up.

“Bunny!” Jack called.

“Jack? How’d you get here mate? Weren’t you supposed to be with little Punzel?”

“He is Bunny.” I said. Jack moved an inch for Bunny to see Rapunzel.
