yo guys being sick is great except for the endless pain and aching but like my mom is constantly taking care of me and every night she goes all ""maybe you shouldn't go to school tomorrow either"" and i pretend to look sad to miss all the new stuff everyone's learning but rlly i'm just like yussssssssssssssssssssssssssss god bless u mom

Imagine going to a gym to lose some weight, which is where you meet Damon
A few lines from your favorite song came out of your mouth, as you turned on the shower of the local gym you had been going to for the past week. You didn't usually sing in the shower, but with the gym empty, you didn't mind. It was five in the morning, you had woken up very early just to come to the gym, because you hated being around people who you knew would just watch and judge. Most of the people in Mystic Falls had attended the fairly new gym just to continue training, they happened to be quite fit already, but you, well, you weren't. You hated working out, and in your opinion, breaking a sweat wasn't worth it unless it was for a hot guy. In your case, hot celebrities.
But the gym gave you a boost, a kick in the ass and you decided to start working on yourself. You did hate your body, but you were always too lazy to do anything about it, until now. You felt the need to hide it, which was exactly why you were washing the sweat your usual workout had provided, at five in the morning with no one else around. But perhaps all the exercising would give you results, and you would no longer have to hide your body.
The water was nice and cool on your hot skin, and you closed your eyes and hummed along the song stuck in your head while relaxing. You felt accomplished because of the exercise you had completed, and a smile tugged up your lips while you washed your hair - you were overall very happy and nice at the moment.
Your perfect peace was interrupted when someone coughed from the other side of the wall, causing terror to enter your body. You froze - you weren't sure if the cough was your cue to stop singing, or an attempt to make you acknowledge that you weren't the only one in the gym, but nevertheless you were scared and awkward and you shut up immediately. Concluding from the manly cough, it was indeed a man, which only terrified you more.
"Sorry", he said, and you bit your lip nervously, grimacing and cursing in your mind. "Didn't mean to scare you. You were singing nicely", the stranger continued. You thought about what to say, or if you should say anything at all, but all you could do was pick up your shampoo and flee the showers.
In the dressing room, you quickly dried your hair and body, and put on your underwear. That was as far as you got before the stranger came out of the showers, and you took in a sharp breath when you saw a handsome man, with a good, no, perfect upper body, while the lower was hidden by a towel hanging loosely on his hips. Another towel was on his shoulders, and he dried his hair while walking to his locker, which happened to be three lockers away from yours.
Perfect.
His eyes flickered over to you, and you blushed, hiding behind the door of your locker, hoping he wouldn't see your body. But he did. And he loved it.
"Cute underwear", he chuckled, and you swallowed thickly, not sure what to say. "You shouldn't hide, you know. I'm not some creepy guy. Besides, your body is nothing to be ashamed of. Man, you're... Anyway, I'm Damon", he explained, and made you blush harder, but you stopped hiding. You put on your jeans, and a shirt, and then started to work on your hair, while this Damon guy looked for clothes to put on. You looked at him from the mirror you were standing in front of, and feeling your heart beat a bit faster because of his presence. He was attractive, indeed.
"I'm Y/N", you finally let out, and turned around to walk to your bag, but that was when he dropped his towel and your jaw dropped. You turned back around, and stumbled against the lockers, doing your everything to avoid looking at his naked body. You could see the grin on his face from the mirror, and he let out a chuckle as he put on some underwear, followed by black trousers. Only then you could turn back around, but even then it was awkward and you felt like melting in front of him.
"Nice to meet you, Y/N. Especially under these conditions", he grinned, "I was about to go and grab something to eat, care to join me?" You scratched the back of your neck, and packed your bag, while rapidly nodding your head. Damon seemed quite nice, even if he was cheeky and a bit flirtatious, but he wasn't rude or mean about the way you looked.
"Do you like pancakes?", he asked, and made you nod once again. He was very nice.
"I was hoping you'd say that. I'm amazing at making pancakes", he added, and you laughed. You threw your bag over your shoulder, and watched him get dressed, before the two of you could leave the locker rooms and the gym. You had not expected meeting a handsome guy at five in the morning in the local gym, but you were glad it happened. He was hot, and nice, and hot.
"How can I trust you?", you asked before you stepped into his car. Damon grinned, and shrugged one of his shoulders.
"Maybe you can't. Maybe you'll just have to brave enough to take a risk", he replied and you smiled. "I saw you with only your underwear on. I think we're enough close for you to get in the car so I can take you to my place and make you some delicious pancakes", he continued, making you nod your head in agreement. Sure. Why not take the risk?
So you entered his car, and let him drive you to his house. And damn, he did not lie about those pancakes.
