Hours had passed when I finally felt equipped to travel on my lonesome through the forest, I knew that I was almost to the forest clearing and from there I would have to travel through a huge creek and then finally I would be at the mountain's base.
I fell asleep with the map beside me, holding onto it for dear life since it was only hope of finding the dragon's but most importantly my way back home.

I packed everything neatly into my bags and walked out of that cave leaving only the reminiscence of ash from the fire I had made to keep me warm the past couple of nights. I sat upon the horse's back, jitters coursing through my veins. Frances' horse was the most wild I had ever seen. I held the reins firmly and hit the side of the horse two times, she took off running through the forest.
