-Welcome to the army. - The redhead whispers before biting.
Riley looks away, hearing the man's agony screams. Once the man went through the transformation process, the first thing he did was hunt in order to control his thirst. But Victoria, Riley, and Jessica stayed.
-You're not coming? - The brunet asks both girls.
-It'll be a last-minute decision. I told how it works. - Victoria rubs his arm.
-The Cullens have powers, Riley. Remember that. - Jessica approaches the guy to caress his cheek.
-Powers? - He asks mockingly, looking back at them.
-Don't underestimate them, Riley. You'll have anyone you want, especially Alessandra. But you will see they'll be able to anticipate your every move. - Jessica reminds, making him smile by imagining Alessandra with him.
Riley started wanting Alessandra since the instant he began watching her. At the moment of sensing her aroma, a necessity of biting her and making her his that he's never experienced appeared within him. It was such the yearn of having her by his side that Victoria and Jessica took advantage of that to manipulate him.
-According to your friend, Victoria? - He asks sarcastically.

Riley looks back at them immediately, shaking his head.

-We're doing this for us. So you can have Alessandra in your arms. So that we can kill the Cullens along with Ethan. We cannot allow... - The guy takes the redheads faces at the moment of seeing her afraid.
-Nothing's gonna happen. You will take care of the Cullens alongside Ethan except one. - Both girls frown. - I want to kill Edward Cullen with my own hands. But before that, I want him to suffer when seeing his gorgeous Alessandra being my eternal mate.
Jessica and Victoria smile, enchanted by his words. Jessica takes him by the neck and kiss him needingly. Both newborns must convince Riley to kill the Cullens somehow. And what better way is there than making him believe he will have three women to his complete disposition.

The next day, at Forks, Alessandra and Edward find themselves getting out of the Cullen house.

-We don't need any help, sweetheart. It'll be a guaranteed win with the wolves on our side. The rest of us won't have much to do. - Alli looks away, getting mad.
-So it's so risky that I have to hide, or so simple for you to do nothing? - She asks incredulously.
-Risky for you, easy for us. - Edward starts walking towards his car.
The girl makes a small tantrum on her place before standing on his way.
-It's dangerous for us to be apart. You wanna try again? - She asks sarcastically, knowing that Edward remembered what happened a year ago. - I'll be worried, you'll be worried, and we'll both be vulnerable.
-You're right. - The girl smiles lightly, knowing she won. She takes a step toward her partner.
-Then I'll go with you. - She smiles, but it fades when seeing him refuse. Taking her by the waist.
-No, none of us will. - Alessandra frowns as Edward kisses her lips shortly.
-I'm not gonna make you choose between me and your family. - She states, trying to pull away but he prevents it.
-The only way to protect you is staying with you. - He gets closer to kiss her again.
-Not fair. - She whispers, the vampire opening the car door for her.
Alessandra gets in, her expression showing frustration, arms crossed. Edward gets in the car and they make way to an unknown part of the woods for Alessandra. The couple gets out of the car and, with their hands intertwined, they approach Jasper. Who is waiting for them.
-You're not gonna fight? Did you pull a muscle of something? - Thomas mocks when arriving.
-Could you leave the games aside, Thomas? - Alessandra orders, crossing her arms. - We both made that choice.
-I don't care. Just say the plan. - The guy's expression turns more serious.
-This field will give advantage in battle. We'll attract the newborns with Alessandra's scent but it must end here. - Jasper announces, looking at Thomas, who looks at Alli, who's taken by the waist by Edward.
-Edward and I will go camping. Even if he carries me, they'll still recognize my scent. - She explains, Edward rubbing her waist and leaving many kisses on her head. - Stop it, Eddie - She whispers, her cheeks blushing.
Edward smiles charmingly by fulfilling his purpose, leaning down to kiss her cheek.

-You really don't wanna start comparing stinks. - Thomas warns, feeling a certain weight in his chest by watching the girl gladly receive displays of affection.
-What Edward means is that your scent could cover mine. - Alli intervenes, preventing a fight.
-Done. - The werewolf agrees, having something in mind that tenses the vampire.
-It's not a good idea. - Edward tells Jasper.

The brunette returns the kiss before pulling away and walk up to Thomas. She has intentions of getting on his back, but he grabs her legs are carries her bridal style. Provoking her to gasp in surprise. - There's no necessity to carry me like this. - She tries getting off, but Thomas increases his grip.
-Eau de wolf coming up. - He announces, ignoring the girl's words.

-He decided to give it up. But every choice has its consequences. Some more than others. - The human nods, agreeing to his words.
-Yeah, right. Everyone makes a decision and you gotta learn how to accept mine. That's always been your thing. - She admits, making him stop on his tracks.
-You can love more than one person at a time. - The brunette frowns, shaking her head. - I've seen it. Like Sam, Emily, and Leah.
-Well, I'm not a wolf. I can't imprint. - Thomas rolls his eyes.

-I get you nervous. - Alli pushes his face away, avoiding Thomas' closeness.
-Course you do. If we stay here much longer, the newborns will catch my scent. - She assures.
-I promised not to kiss you again until you asked. - Thomas reminds himself before contnuing the way.
-Well, you'll be keeping that promse for awhile, Chief. - Alli jokes, making him chuckle.
Jasper gets out of the woods and stands in front of Edward, who finds himself tense since the moment Alessandra and Thomas left.
-Only thing I smelled was wolf stench. No sign of Alli. - The blond announces, making he bronze-haired feel better in a certain way. - This'll work out fine.
-Good. - Edward says shortly before turning around and walk away from his brother. Thinking about how his soulmate might be at the moment.
