Question: Paano po magsulat ng nobela? [Tagalog/English]

Hello! Natanggap ko tong tanong sa message board ko and...I do want to answer it!

1. Simpleng structure. Ginagamit ko ang 3-act structure. I divide my manuscript into three parts, a beginning (Act One), middle (Act Two), and end (Act Three). Kung ang word count goal ko ay 40,000 to 45,000 words (actually novella length), then I try to write 15,000 words per act.

2. Theme/motivation: What does the character want the most? And then the rest of the book is just the journey to achieving these things. Siyempre may challenges, and then overcoming those challenges.

I use these two tips for writing both short stories and longer books. It helps me focus!

Anyway this is what I do and what helps me write. Sana makatulong!
