Today, I took a break from streaming.
Not because I wanted to, but because I was forced to.
To my parents, staying home to stream a block game isn't really a good excuse anymore. I've been begging them constantly about it, and they gave in because they saw how much this meant to me. But because my attendance was suffering, they had enough.
No matter how much I asked and begged, they're sending me to school.
And that's final. :(
But- hey. At least I'd be able to stream... maybe later tonight? maybe tomorrow? who knows!
Still- no matter what... Streaming is still 10 times more funner than going to school. Also- now that i'm affiliate... I can buy some of the decently good cafeteria lunches... Or go get some boba after school... oh- the choices....
"Hey- Y/N? Ellooo??" A voice sounded from besides me "You finally come back to school and you're already in a daze..."
I fixated my vision to see that there was a hand waving in front of my face. Turning to my left, I saw Luca sitting besides me.
Luca's braided back brown hair hung over her shoulders, covering a portion of her olive toned skin. Her jade green eyes glimmered as they stared at me. I was unable to see her face properly, all because she wore a black face mask.
Oh yeah... I was on the bus already...
"The fuck were you thinking about this time?" She asks, raising an eyebrow
"Uh.... streaming?" I answered simply
"Streaming? what about streaming?" Luca questioned
Ah- right. She is still a little new to the mcyt community, so she doesn't really know much about the whole: Dream SMP competition fight thing.
For all I know- she probably knows nothing about the fight at all.
"I'm- uhh... starting to stream now- that's why you didn't see me for a while" I answered
"Wowww.... Ditching me at school for about a week to be a streamer.... That kinda hurts y'know" She says, wiping her non existent tears with her handkerchief "So- are you streaming Minecraft?"
"Well- you guessed right! My buddy old pal" I smirked
"No surprise there. That's all you pretty much talk about every hour of the day" She responds
I rolled my eyes.
"That's not all I talk about... I talk about school work too-"
"--And when you talk about stuff like that, you flex on the fact you actually finished all the work while everyone else is still struggling on question one" Luca cuts me off
"To be fair..." I began to say "...I've already learnt all the stuff they are teaching right now during primary"
"Have you ever studied a day in your life?" She asks me
"Hard to say-" I shrugged "I don't remember much of my childhood"
"All I remember in my childhood is that people kept calling me adopted--" Luca says, breaking into laughter
"Pft-- okay. Yeah, I can see why. You're the whitest in your family" I chuckled
"Exactly!! I call bullshit." Luca states "I'm not adopted!!"
"Do you two have to be so loud..?" A voice behind us groaned out
"Do you have to be such an whining little bitch?" Luca turned around to ask
I turned to face Aiden.
"I wasn't the one being loud- but okay, Aiden-"
Aiden's short wavy black hair shielded his brown eyes slightly. His arms were crossed as he stared down to us, his eyes clearly full of annoyance. I could feel his glare directed to the two of us.
Must've woken him up from his morning nap....
"....So, you're a streamer now? That's something I didn't expect you'd do" Aiden muttered "How's that going for you?"
"Uhh... Well... It's.... well....?" I responded, averting my gaze
"You don't seem so sure about it..." Aiden points out
It's not because I'm unsure about the streaming thing, I'm unsure if I should say any more about the matter because we're on a public bus... a public school bus especially...
People at our school are either Tiktokers or too into sports for their own good... No one at our school really cares about grades. Most of them pay off the teachers anyway...
But besides that- I've never heard about anyone in our school liking or playing video games. Luca and Aiden are an exception, but that's because I introduced them to those things...
Before we were friends, they didn't know or like anything about Minecraft or Twitch...
Aiden was a hardcore soccer player and Luca was a BTS fangirl. So, it's kinda weird seeing them interested in the stuff now...
Anyways- It's not a good idea to say anything about it now... Maybe sometime later...
"I'm pretty sure that I'm doing well..." I say
"What's your twitch then? I wanna follow you!" Luca jumps in
"I'll- uhh... message it to you on discord after school" I say
"Why don't you just tell us?" Aiden asks
"Dude- I don't want other people knowing- I'll message you both it after school. So chill" I state
Though, I wonder how they'd react if I told them about what happen.... I'm not even sure if they'd believe me... But- It's only a matter of time. They have to find out at some point, after all... The three of us are good friends.
Once the bus stopped at our destination, everyone on the bus began to pour out of it. All students wanting to get out of that cramped and suffocating bus. No one liked it in there, but hey- it was our ride. So, whatever.
Suddenly, I felt a buzz from my phone.
But I decided to ignore it for the mean time...
School was about to start, and I need to get going to my first period class...

"Who's phone is that??" Mrs Evens asks, turning to face the class
The class stayed silent, no one wanting to answer.
But they all knew it was me.

Buzz... Buzz... Buz- Bu- Buzz....
There is goes again....
...and more crazier than ever.
And this time, everyone turned their gazes to me. And most importantly: Mrs Evens... My English teacher.
"Y/N. Did you forget to put your phone into silent mode?" She asks, crossing her arms
"Uh-uhh..... Sorry miss" I muttered in reply, looking down to my desk
"Do so now, it's distracting" She says, turning back to the white board
Pulling out my phone, I turned it on and took a quick glance at the notifications.
Tommy was spamming my discord dm's...
Boy-
"...Who's that?" Aiden asks, peering over my shoulder
Quickly, I swiped down the top of my screen and turned my phone onto silent mode. After doing so, I shoved my phone back into my pocket.
"Just some guy" I answered
"...some guy?" Aiden questioned, raising an eyebrow
"Aiden! Y/N! Stop flirting or else I'm going to give you both detention!" Mrs Even's exclaimed
The class began to laugh and Aiden shrunk back in his seat, somewhat embarrassed about the sudden call out. It didn't effect me since this happens almost every other day with multiple sets of students in our class. So I just turned back around once again to face the front of the class to make it look like I'm paying attention to the lesson.
What was she talking about again? The film Thor: Ragnarok?
Eh. Seen it, been there, done that. Let's go onto something more interesting--
And after a long while sitting in that class discussing Thor: Ragnarok, the bell finally went.
Since our first class was a two hour period, we went into our interval sooner than expected.
Me, Aiden and Luca somehow made it and sat down on the bleachers near our field. There were a few other groups around, we all either talked separately or we watched the people down below playing rugby on the field.
"So, Y/N- who was the guy messaging you earlier?" Luca asked
"We're just friends on discord." I replied
"How long have you two been talking?" Luca questions
"Since I've started streaming" I answered
"Ohhh! So he's your streaming partner than! Or is he a fan?" She asks
"We stream the same thing, so--"
"Is he one of those cute gamer boys?"
"I don't think that's a necessary--" I cut myself off "Why so curious?"
The way Luca continues to pester me with questions about this supposed "mystery boy". It confused me. Why so much interest? She never asks anything about my other online friends...
"He seems pretty needy" Aiden spoke up, seeming to be scrolling through his phone when I glanced at him
"Are you sure he's not some kind of creep? How old is he?" Luca asks
"He's not a creep. He's 17. Just like us." I stated
"You don't really know that!!" She exclaimed
"Trust me. I know." I responded
He's said it many times and it's on the wiki-
"The username from those messages... Tommyinnit? Sounds familiar..." Aiden murmured
"Wait- Tommyinnit...? That famous Minecraft streamer?" Luca questions
Uhh....
"Now- why would a famous Minecraft streamer be messaging Y/N out of all people?" Aiden brought up
"Hmmm......yeah- you're right" Luca shrugs
I feel insulted.
"Wow. The faith you have in me is overwhelming. I am so touched." I said monotone
"Then are you saying that the person who messaged you earlier was the actual Tommyinnit?"
"Believe it or not- It's whatever." I shrugged "It doesn't really matter anyway"
"But you're such a big mcyt simp- How can you say that it doesn't matter!" Luca shouts
At that sentence, almost everyone around us started to stare. I felt a bit of judgement coming from them, I felt annoyance coming from them... I didn't really like it that much.
I turned to face Luca.
"Oi- quiet down... People are staring...."
Luca huffed, crossing her arms.
"Who cares? They're a bunch of idiots who don't have any class-"
"Shut up Luca. Now even more people are staring..." Aiden muttered, side eyeing the other student around us
"Let's go then. The sun is making me over heated anyway..." I said, taking a stand
I walked to the top of the bleachers and hopped over the railings. Falling down, I steadied myself and ended up landing on both of my feet.
I waited for a bit, seeing Aiden and Luca come around from the other side of the bleachers.
"Why do you always do that- One day you're going to sprain your ankle" Luca states
"It's faster- plus. I don't like people staring at me like that" I say
"Anyways- you've got to tell me more about Tommy!" Luca beamed "I haven't watched much of his videos, but he's actually fucking hilarious...!"
"How did you even get to talking with him anyway?" Aiden questions
"Okay- let me start from the beginning..." I murmured
The rest of the time the three of us just talked. All about Dream's little competition thing and how I'm now in the Dream SMP. The fact that I am able to talk to so many people I admire and the fact that I'm able to stream and play Minecraft alongside them.
This conversation went on all day long. Actually, there was a part of me that forgot I was even at school.
That was until my teachers kept telling me to shut up or quiet down- which was a little bit embarrassing, but I managed to live.
When the day came to an end, I had to take the bus home. There I read all of Tommy's messages.
