Fred's pov:
"I'm pregnant."
I didn't say anything for a minute. Thoughts were racing through my head and I suddenly couldn't think straight. I was so overwhelmed by the two words that came from her mouth that I didn't even know what to feel.
"I knew this was a bad idea. I should've just. I don't know, sorted it out by myself." It was only then that I noticed the few tears that soaked her face, and the fact that she had began to pace along the bedroom.
"You? What? When?" I stuttered, jumping to my feet and slowly approaching her, "you're pregnant?"
She looked unsure, but nodded as she wiped a tear from her eye.
I felt the air disappear from my lungs, but within seconds a smile shot upon my face. "I'm going to be a dad?"
With a nod, I leapt into the air, in a cheer of joy, "I'm going to be a dad!"
I rushed forward towards her, engulfing her in the biggest hug imaginable, making her laugh slightly.
Though when I placed her down, she still had a frown etched on her face. "You aren't mad?"
"Mad?" I shouted in disbelief, "how can I be mad? Y/N, we're gonna be parents! We're going to have a baby! Children! Just like we talked about. This is the best day of my life!"
Seeing the excitement I displayed, she smiled brightly, "I'm going to be a mum."
"And I'm going to be a dad." I matched her tone and hugged her once more. "You're going to make the best mum."
"And you'll make the best dad." She reassured.
I laughed, "yeah, well, you'll have to be the strict parent. But we'll teach her all we know!"
Y/N laughed, "you think it'll be a girl?"
"I know it will!"
"I think it'll be a boy." She smirked, "and he'll look just like his dad and uncle Georgie."
"Nah. It's definitely a girl."
"Nope boy!" She told me.
"And how can you be so sure?" I asked her, raising a brow.
"Mothers feeling." She said in a 'duh' tone, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
I rolled my eyes, but laughed at her, until a gasp left my mouth.
"What?" Y/N asked, her face now worried.
"How is our little bean going to tell the difference between me and George?"
Y/N laughed, "little bean?"
"Well we don't have a name for it yet, so yeah. Little bean." I smirked.
She laughed, "well, now we have only one problem."
I raised my brow, "what's that?"
"How we tell our parents."
I frowned, "well it's not mine I'll have to worry about, is it?"
She gasped in realisation as we spoke in at the same time, "Sirius!"

Y/N's pov:
In seconds I went into full blown panic mode. My dad! How on Earth was I going to be able to tell him? He's murder Fred if he got the chance. I hadn't even thought. I was too scared about telling Fred that I didn't think about telling anyone else. Shit!
But then I was called but the comforting voice that I loved so much. A hand was wrapped around my waist, and his head rested on my shoulder, "it'll be alright love. We're in this together alright. Through it all."
I nodded hesitantly, and turned around to meet his gaze.
"Can I?" He asked, and it took me a minute to figure out what he was referring to, but when I did, a soft smile formed on my lips and I nodded my head.
We laid back in our bed, my eyes closing, as Fred laid a hand on my stomach, whilst snuggled into the side of me.
And then I felt butterfly's with his words, and had to stop myself from releasing the tears that had formed in my eyes.
"Hello little Bean. It's your daddy. I can't wait to meet you. But it won't be long, I'm sure. Be good for your mummy won't you? She loves you lots and so do I. So you've got to be good and try not to move around too much in there."
I smiled to myself as I fell to sleep. The thought of Fred with a baby in his arms with me laid at the side of him. I was in love.

Fred's pov:
Sudden movement distrusted my sleep, and caused me to jump up in bed. I saw the retreating figure rushing towards the bathroom, and made a direct route to follow.
I held her hair behind her head, out of the way and rubbed her back softly.
"How long has this been going on?" I dared to ask.
She shrugged, "only a couple of days. It normally just happens in the mornings, or when I've just eaten something."
I nodded my head.
"How long have you known?" I asked, smiling slightly.
"Well I found out when Madam Pomfrey came to check me over, but I'm around 3 or 4 weeks now." She started to brush her teeth.
"So when is she due?"
"He." She corrected, making me roll my eyes, "and I don't know. We didn't really get to do a proper check up, but it's July now, so I'd say either the end of March or the beginning of April."
"We need to get an appointment, make sure everything's alright." I told her, to which she nodded in agreement. "And we need to figure out how to tell everyone."
"I want to tell George first." She insisted, and I didn't need to ask why. I thought that it would be for the best too. George would be the one living with us- for now.
And he would surely be the one who would have most to do with the baby, other than me and Y/N of course.
"Well I'll take the day off today then, and we can go to St Mongus, make sure that both of you are alight?" I offered.
She shook her head, "Don't be silly. You don't need to take time off. I'll be alright, I can go alone."
I silenced her with a kiss, "I want to be her there. I want to be with you every step of the way, love. I'll not miss anything."
I didn't miss the smile that she gave me, or how a look of relief was formed.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"You don't need to thank me."

Y/N's pov:
After notifying George that we had an appointment to check me over at the hospital, we used the floo network to travel there. I felt bad because George seemed genuinely worried about me, but I couldn't tell him any of the news just yet.
Fred has his hand laced with mine as we landed, refusing to let go of it, right up until we got to the counter at St Mongus.
"Name?" The woman rudely said, now bothering to look up from her desk.
I rolled my eyes. "Y/N Black."
I saw her gulp as she raised her head slowly to look at me. She quickly plastered a smile onto her face, making Fred chuckle behind me, "if you'd just take a seat in the waiting room, the nurse will be right with you."
I only nodded with a look of displease as I made my way into the room.
"Everyone's terrified of you." Fred laughed.
I merely rolled my eyes, "Don't be silly."
"It's true. It's like whenever someone says your name they know they have to be kind to you."
I laughed slightly as I took a seat next to him, the nerves finally kicking in. All the women surrounding me were significantly older witches. All looked to be at least 25. I wasn't scared of judgment, I couldn't care less about that. But it did make me worry for our child. Would I be able to support it? I hardly knew anything, would I be able to learn in such a short time?
As if noticing my uneasiness, Fred placed his hand over mine, "we're going to be fine. And we are going to give out little bean everything we can."
The silent promise made me smile and even though in the room full of obviously pregnant women, at least half of them were staring at me either in shock or disappointment, the one thought that filled my head was our baby.
Let them stare.

Fred's pov:
We waited for what seemed to be about another 20 minutes before the nurse called us into the room. It's a good job because I don't think I could have gritted my teeth any tighter. I wanted to tell people just to mind their own business, that it shouldn't matter to them what age me and my girlfriend are having a child at. They're just nosy fuckers.
"Hi you must be Y/N." The older lady gave us a welcoming smile, gesturing towards the bed for Y/N to lay back on.
"I'm Fred." I shook her hand, and took the chair next to where Y/N lay, taking her hand in mine.
"The father I'm assuming?" The lady asked, and with a nod from me, began to prepare her things, "Well Y/N, we're going to do a quick ultrasound to see how far along you are and how the baby is developing, and then we'll have some pictures for you to take." She said.
Y/N nodded her head and I sent her a reassuring smile, knowing that although she was acting alright, she was truly terrified.
"Just lift your shirt up a little please."
Y/N followed the instructions, and we watched as the lady put a blob of gel onto her stomach.
"Can't you just use magic?" I interrupted.
She nodded with a shrug, "you can but we find the muggle way to be a lot easier."
I didn't say anything else, only watched as she pulled out a weird device and ran it along Y/N's stomach.
After a few moments, the nurse spoke again, "well, everything seems to be developing fine. From the looks of it, you are around 4 weeks pregnant so we will start to hear a heart beat soon." She smiled, but grew serious again, "now I'm sure you're aware, but in order for the baby to be healthy, no smoking, no drinking alcohol and try and limit the amount of caffeine you consume."
We nodded along, and she returned back to her computer. I felt Y/N squeezed my hand, and I smiled happily back at her.
"Now if you have a look on this screen, you'll be able to see your baby." She turned the screen around, and pointed to a black blob on the dark screen. It was tiny- couldn't be bigger than my little finger nail, but it was ours. We made that!
"That's our baby." I whispered out loud.
Y/N gave my hand another squeeze, "it's going to be the most spoilt baby ever."
"I have no doubt about that."
"You can collect your photos from the main desk." The nurse said, "is there any questions you have for me, whilst I'm here?"
"Could you tell us a due date?" This time Y/N spoke up.
The woman nodded and returned back to looking at her computer before she spoke again, "obviously it's not for definite but we're looking at around April the 2nd." She smiled.
I laughed, " a day after mine then."
The nurse only laughed, and I helped Y/N wipe the remaining gel off of her stomach, and helped her stand again.
"Thank you." We said to the nurse.
"Thank you." She replied, "we'll contact you for another appointment, in a few weeks time if you'd like."
We turned to walk out the door when we were stripped once again, "oh I forgot to mention, is there a line of twins in your family?"
I gulped as Y/N replied, "Freds a twin."
The lady smiled, "well in that case, who knows. We might have two babies on the way."
I laughed slightly, imagining the possibility. Two babies.
