CONTINUING
The class and I had already arrived in the city area. Lots of big buildings were surrounding us. They all seemed to be the same height from below.
"Midoriya, I think it's best if we made our way to the top," Yagi suggested.
"Very well, lead the class to the top of one of the buildings" I said.
"Wait, what about you?"
"I'm going to scan the area"
Yagi quickly nodded and grouped back up with the class,"Everyone, we'll head to the roof of this building!"
The class didn't ask any questions but instead did as they were told and made their way up the highest building. It would provide them with a big view of the city, and since Jirou and Shoji are with the group, if any enemies were to be in the building, they would know.
"Oh Hisashi! Here!" Momo said, tossing me an ear piece.
"Smart thinking Momo, thank you"
"(sparkle) Your welcome!"
'Good now I won't lose full connection with the class. Probably I could've brought one of them with me, but they're better off with numbers'
I was tempted to just destroy the city, but I don't know if there were any penalties for doing so. The exam was obvious to test our team work since I'm sure every class from every school stayed as a group or split into groups, and for me the second choice was ideal.
I scanned the city and did find a few people around but they were at the edge of my distance to sense them, however a couple people, were coming our way.
/Momo, a couple are heading your way/

As I was about to list them, when I looked up, I saw a girl that looked like she was wearing a girl scout's uniform, jump from one building to the next.
/On second thought Momo, I'll be back/
/What?! I mean, sure but what happened?/

I turned off my ear piece. The people who I confirmed were girls, were getting into a familiar formation. My class hasn't reached the top which I expected but now I don't.
'Only one girl I know likes those uniforms.'
"Blink!"
I Blinked into another tall building that was across the one my class maes scale up. It was empty only having a few chairs and tables. There weren't any elevators so I had to walk up the stairs. I could've used Blink, but the girl I knew probably had a plan so I wanted to see what she would do and like expected there was a trap.
I got up to the 46th floor of the building where I finally had some company. I already knew they were there since, well, it was me but they did catch me by surprise with a rather rough capture.
"NOW!" Someone yelled.
A few dark figures zoomed around me while I watched them smiling. First my arms became restrained by a force around me, next I felt another force wrap around my eyes and finally, someone seemingly gave me a hug from behind and spikes pierced my body.
I coughed up a bit of blood, but since Healing Touch had become a strong passive quirk, I didn't have anything to worry about.
"We got you Midoriya" A familiar voice said with a sharp tongue.
"(chuckle) C'mon, you know this won't hold me" I mocked.
"We know, however try any moves, and we'll eliminate all your classmates"
"I can't exactly see your face, but I do remember your figure. Saiko Intelli, how have you been"
"Don't speak Midoriya"
Saiko Intelli. Quirk, IQ. Depending on what kind of brand of tea she drinks, her IQ level will be boosted by a good amount making her potentially the smartest person in the world. Or when it came to tactics.
"So you've trapped my friends? I don't believe you"
"Doesn't matter if you do. Ladies, give back his vision" Saiko rendered one of her soldiers.
It was revealed that golden hair had been wrapped around my eyes, a girl's arms had wrapped around my body like rope, and behind me was a short haired girl with spikes coming out of her body.
"So you don't remember me?" I said, still examining the room.
"Ladies, let him go. He's not a threat"
I could see the hesitation in their eyes but to their order, let me go.
"Sorry" the short haired girl said bringing back her spikes.
"My suit now has a hole in it, but I guess it's fine" I said.
"It's nice to see you again Hisashi. I had to make sure it was you first" Saiko said, going for a hug.
"Nice to see you too Saiko" I said, giving back her hug.
"Wait Saiko? This guy isn't a target?" the pink haired girl asked.
"No he is, but he's my target" Saiko sliding a finger down my chest.
The other girls had a blush on their faces.
"Saiko, I see your hormones increased along with your intelligence. Maybe we could talk later but for now, have you gotten what I asked you for?"
Saiko nodded and motioned for the other girls to bring in a few students who have been knocked out and restrained to each other. 4 groups of 4 unconscious students. Perfectly done.
"As always, you and your girl scouts have done an amazing job" I commended.
"Who are you calling girl scouts!?" The short haired girl said getting restrained by another girl whose arms become long.
The girls did take a moment to examine their uniforms and they had a sad realization. They did look like girl scouts.
"Hisashi, why did you need these students?" Saiko asked.
"Why? Because I need more quirks" I said truthfully.
"Need more quirks? Saiko, what is he talking about?" the golden haired girl asked.
"Hisashi?" Saiko said, giving me a look for permission.
"Go ahead Saiko. I don't mind"
"Very well. Ladies, Hisashi has the ability to take away quirks and keep them for himself. He could also give away those quirks if he wanted"
"That's....a powerful quirk" The short haired girl said.
I slowly walked over to the unconscious students that were in the room. The girls didn't bother to try to light up any of my targets. It may be they knew they shouldn't or perhaps they were given the order not to, but in the end no one moved, except Saiko who joined my side. I examined each examinee and like requested, they were all 3rd years and this was the last chance for them to become heroes.
To fill in a few holes for you, before the exam started, I was approached by Saiko who was a huge fan. This took place the day after I got my last new quirks like Proximity. She said she was a fan from an all girl school named Seiai Academy, west of Japan. We went through the basic greetings 'Hi' 'Hello' 'What's your quirk' 'My quirk is' and we had a drink together at a tea shop. I didn't like tea but she definitely did since she ordered 4 cases. After talking for a bit, she offered to help me out during the exam and of course the smart thing to do was except and now we're here.
"Saiko, I knew I could count on you. Perhaps we could go for another tea run when we pass"
"Ahh, I know what I could go for~"
"Saiko, you may just rival Pro Hero Midnight as a flirt"
"Oh, fine"
"Name their quirks and their uses"
Saiko quickly went through all the examinee's quirks and I suppose some were useful but out of the 16, only 2 caught my eye. The first one was a none physical quirk and the second was a physical quirk.
"Remind me what these 2 quirks are," I said to Saiko.
"Nice choice (clears throat) Quirk, Body Freeze. You can stop any part of the body within yourself or others, however it doesn't work on the brain or eyes"
"Can I stop the heart?"
"I don't have enough information but would you like to try?" Saiko asked with a smile.
"Sure, but I'd like to try it on one of your underlings Saiko"
I activated Rivets on a finger and quickly stabbed one of the examinees on the arm and took his quirk. I turned my attention to the other girls and held out a hand and slowly closed my palm and suddenly, all 4 girls grabbed their chests like it was in pain and fell to their knees.
"Mi-dor-iya!" The golden haired girl gasped.
I released my palm and used Healing Touch and Recover on them. They were all gasping for air but slowly stood back on their feet.
"It's pretty powerful, but I can sense that 4 is the limit for this quirk, even with Multiplier" I said while examining my hand,"at least the power makes up for its limit"
"Perhaps the number of fingers you close and the pressure you put on them also affect the way you can freeze the body" Saiko added,"Ladies, are you alright?"
"Yeah, it doesn't hurt anymore" The short haired girl said.
"Next, we have Nullify,"Saiko started," You can nullify the effects of quirks. For example your classmate Sero has a tape like quirk, so if you were to get caught in it, Nullify would make the tape not sticky anymore and turn it into useless paper"
"I assume it doesn't work for non physical quirks"
"That's correct"
"This is pretty strong too if used right. Freeing myself from traps would be easy now. Well, now it's time for my end of the deal."
"Saiko! A deal?...WHAA!!!!?"
(peck)
I just gave Saiko a small peck on her forehead, making her friends all blush.
"S-S-Saiko!! You dare defile our queen!!" The short haired girl said.
"Hisashi. I thought I said a kiss!" Saiko said.
"That was a kiss, on your forehead, Saiko," I said back.
"Grrrr!!! I didn't mention where I wanted it. Damn!" Saiko said, stomping the ground.
"I'm not so easy to just give away my first kiss Saiko, especially when it's a deal" I said patting her head,"You did good Saiko, let's hang out again"
"(huff) Whatever,"She said, crossing her arms,"What are you going to do with the rest of these guys?"
The unconscious examinees had started to wake up slowly. It was only a matter of time before they fully realized what position they were in and as 3rd years, I'm sure they knew exactly what to do so they had to be taken out.
"I will have my class eliminate all of them"
"Very well then, we will be on our way" Saiko said as she and her scouts began leaving the building.
"There are enough targets east of here Saiko, I expect to see all of you in the next round" I said, giving them a smile.
"We'll be there" Saiko said with a smug look before they were completely out of my sight,
"As for you guys.." I said turning towards the captured examinees.
The examinees had just started to open their eyes.
"Wha...Hey wait! Where am I!" One of them shouted, waking the others up,"Hey! Who are you!"
"Shhh,"I placed a finger in front of my mouth," Proximity. Forced Sleep"
"...what did you...."
The awakening examinees fell back to sleep at the same time. I eliminated one of them for myself allowing me to pass for my targets glowed blue. I turned my ear piece back on to be bombarded with questions.

Instead of answering, I Blinked my way across to their building where to them, I instantly appeared out of nowhere.
"We'll be moving positions," I said with all my targets glowing blue.
"Woah Midoriya! You already passed?" Sero said.
"Correct"
"Midoriya, what happened to your suit?" Ochako asked,"and is that blood?"
"Don't worry, this is just a scratch, anyways, I've already got your last eliminations in the building I was in. I know I said I wouldn't help but this is just too convenient for you guys not to take, so make your way to the building and on the 46th floor you should find them. Another thing, you don't have worry about getting attacked, I used Forced Sleep on them"
The class was silently staring at me, but then they all released a loud sigh of relief indicating they are fine. I left them to complete this by themselves while I walked over to the waiting room for those who had passed the first part of the exam.
While walking, I noticed a few eyes on me as I walked across the destroyed field I had caused in the beginning. It was mostly the same people who tried to eliminate me, but this time they weren't making any moves. Out of the bunch, I recognized Shindo staring at me. At that point, I already let go of his comment but he obviously didn't let go the way I humiliated him.
'Shindo, don't fail'
I reached the waiting room and it was a more comfortable atmosphere than I thought. Concessions were on a long table to eat or perhaps to recharge someone's quirk, there were also others there too, socializing with each other and to my surprise, Todoroki had already made it in so I decided to sit next to him.
"Todoroki," I said, waving.
"Midoriya, so you also passed. Well, I guess that was expected.
"Thank you for saying so Todoroki" I said, as I sat down in a seat next to him.
"What about the others?"
"Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari I don't know where they are but the rest will be arriving here shortly.
/36 SPOTS REMAINING!/
"Looks like they've all eliminated their targets. That's good"
"How did you know they'll all pass?"
"I lent them a hand. That's all"
"Hmm"
Todoroki didn't say anything for a bit and neither did I. We sat in our own silence for a while and I didn't mind, I was actually thinking about what the next part would be and I was sure that Todoroki was also thinking the same so I started another conversation.
"Have you spoken to your father Todoroki?" I asked cautiously.
I had to consider my words, before during the Sports Festival I didn't hold back my thoughts but now I was trying a new approach to see if Todoroki had made any improvements with his family. Before I didn't care what was happening but after losing someone important, I had a small change.
"No, not as father and son anyway," Todoroki said, avoiding eye contact.
'This is a tough talk'
I had already learned about Todoroki's past with his father through Yagi and a bit of digging. I also know that after the Sports Festival, he's been visiting his mother who his father hospitalized. Quite a family. I don't really have a goal here to achieve, but it would be nice to hear a few things from him.
"Say Todoroki, why do you want to become a hero?"
"A...Hero? I..want to surpass my father and be number 1" Todoroki said thinking about how to answer.
"I think you would make a great hero Todoroki"
He looked me slightly wide eyed like if no one actually said that before, except maybe his father.
"I believe, the best hero's are the ones who start it rough, like maybe you had no powers but suddenly you do"
"That sounds like something out of an old comic Midoriya," He said.
"Haha, yeah it does. Perhaps I was too much of a comic fan back then but it's still what I believe. The best heroes always work the hardest but those heroes usually start by having nothing"
"Do you have proof that such a thing actually exists?" Todoroki said, looking skeptical.
"I do. It's you Todoroki"
He wide eyed at the comment like if he was comparing his life with my belief in second. Quickly he looked back down to the floor as if reflecting on this.
"You didn't get here by having a normal childhood Todoroki. Though I can guess it must've been hell, sometimes the pain can do you a favor. You are one the strongest student in our school and one of the most capable. All your work will pay off, but you can't surpass your father as a hero, if you don't talk to him as one"
"Midoriya"
"Sorry, sorry, I have a habit one giving these lectures from my mother so-"
"Thanks"
'Oh! You said thanks, that's some progress'
"You're a good person Midoriya, thank you for talking to me"
I thought I could see a small smile quickly disappear from the corner of his mouth. Whether or not he'll fully accept what I've said, I'm not sure, however I do believe he's smart and will at least use my talk as a kind of guide.
He won't actually talk to his father first but since Endeavor is now the number 2 hero, I'm sure he will speak first but now as Endeavor but as Enji Todoroki.
"Ah! There they are!" I said patting Todoroki's back"
The rest of the class had just walked into the waiting area looking awfully like heroes. Well of course they would but they were doing that slow motion walk they have in movies.
Yagi was in the front leading them which I had expected.
Unexpectedly, right behind them came in Bakugo, Kirishima and Kaminari who looked like they actually had a fight.
"WHAT!! THAT VILLAIN ACTUALLY PASSED BEFORE ME!!!???" Bakugo shouted, receiving the attention of a few others.
"Bakugo, the spicy chips are on the concession table over there, you should eat up to regain some energy" I said pointing to the table.
Bakugo didn't say anything but glared at me, followed by an irritated expression before he stomped over to the table.
"Midoriya! And I see that Todoroki has passed. As expected as the class' top students!" Iida said.
"Unfortunately, I didn't arrive here first but rather that Shiketsu student did over there" Todoroki said pointing to Inasa wearing a pretty interesting costume.
While the class didn't notice, I did. Inasa was glaring but not at me, but at Todoroki. It was the same kind of glare Endeavor had. Perhaps they had some issues but I left it alone.
"Cutie!!!" Someone yelled.
"Midnight!?" The class turned around to see who shouted that out.
"No, it's Camie"
Camie was with her own class when she started to wave at me, and I waved back.
"Hisashi!" Ochako said,"Another one!?"
"Ochako! No, no, well I don't think so"
"(grumble) Hisashi stop!" Momo said.
"Stop what?"
"Stop being so...you!" Jirou continued.
"We can't have another one to compete with!" Ochako said.
"Damn Midoriya!" Mineta said crying blood.
They continued to complain but I ignored them because all of the sudden, the buzzer finally went off.

/100 STUDENTS HAVE PASSED THE FIRST HALF, THE FIRST HALF IS NOW OVER!/
"Wow, we really passed!" Yagi said, sparkling a bit.
"Indeed, especially thanks to Midoriya, we didn't need to do anything," Tokoyami said.
"YUP!" the class said.
Those who did not make it to the top 100 were sent home and the one's I took the quirk from, well, I don't know what happened to them but I'm sure they're looking for other jobs, maybe as an office worker.
Suddenly, in the front of the room, a large screen appeared and was displaying a destroyed city in ruins.
/A DEVASTATION HAS OCCURRED. YOU HAVE RESCUE THE CIVILIANS THAT MAYBE TRAPPED UNDER THE RUBBLE. IT IS YOUR JOB TO SAVE AND GIVE THEM MEDICAL ATTENTION/
"It's starting, ribbit" Asui said.
It definitely was. Just like the first half, the building we were in, the walls opened up showing the full scale of the destruction. All areas of the exam were destroyed and we had to rescue many civilian lives to pass.
"Hisashi!" A voice said jogging towards me.
"Saiko, what do you think?"
"Midoriya who's that?" Yagi asked.
"YEAH GIRL! WHO ARE YOU!" The girls said.
"Hisashi, I think your class will be better off in the city except for Asui who is best made for water" Saiko said drinking some tea,"I also think that you should remain here in the medical area for your healing abilities"
"You do have a 150 IQ, so I won't complain. Class, please do your best and think carefully. The civilians are probably actors, but they can still get hurt in the rubble so Bakugo, no exploding unless it's necessary" I said pointing to Bakugo.
"I KNOW THAT!! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!!!"
"Saiko, you and your girl scouts should probably go to the factories. I don't think there are alot of sensory types here and with your scuts I'm sure they can get the job done"
"I wanted to stay with you but very well, Ladies!," Saiko called out as her scouts formed up behind her," We'll be heading to the factory area"
The scouts didn't question her orders, instead they picked her up and they ran up towards their destination. I think we all know that I could this all this myself, but Saiko thought for me to stay here as a kind of medic. I don't mind since I wanted my classmates this time to put in their work so separating me from them was perfect.
'Nice thinking Saiko. You know just what I want'
Saiko again, would be very useful in the future when I need her as a partner or a friend.
