Your POV:
It was finally time for the class that we've heard so much about. Defence against the dark arts. Time to meet our new teacher. Professor Lupin.
I'd seen Lupin a few times around school, and he always went out of his way to give me a big smile. He seemed really nice.
I kept thinking about the dog last night, but haven't seen it since. It really confused me, maybe I should tell someone?
Me and Fred were slightly early for class and as we approached the door, it had already swung open, "ah, Mr Weasley? Miss Wood? Is it?" We nodded, "Lovely to meet you, if you take a seat, the class should be starting soon."
I took a seat at the back of the class, next to Fred, who smiled happily at me.
The rest of the class filled in and Lupin stood at the front, looking exceptionally cheery.
"Hello class. My name is Professor Lupin, I'll be your new DADA teacher. Today is quite exciting, we're going to be looking at Boggots, van anyone tell me what this is?" He asks.
No one raised their hand so I decided to answer.
"Yes miss Wood." He said, gesturing for me to answer.
"No one knows what they look like. They take the form of what an individual fears the most," I smile.
"Excellent, 10 point to Gryffindor" he continues, "so there's a simple spell that can banish a boggart. So first of all I'd like you to repeat after me 'ridikulous'!" The students repeated and the professor began to continue explaining how the creatures work. "I want to imagine your worst fear, and turn it into something funny. Now line up,'let's have a try"
Instantly, students began to pile towards the front of the class, pushing and shoving to get in front. Angelina was up first, the Boggart turned into a giant snake, Fred scoffed from behind me, earning him an elbow in the ribs.
"Reidikulous!" She yelled. The giant snake was replaced by a Clowne.
We moved further and further to the front, awaiting our turns. I gestured for Fred to go first. He stepped up and to my surprise, sprawled out on the floor was George covered in blood. This however, wasn't what surprised me, at the side of George lay a blood covered, surly dead....

Fred shouted the spell and immediately we were happy again, me and George had gotten up and were dancing around with Fred. Fred smiled at the sight but when he came back into reality his cheeks flushed red.
Lupin called for my turn and the boggart was revealed.
A baby and a man were dancing and singing around in the kitchen. Just then the laughter was interrupted by 5 angry looking men storming into the room. One took the baby and the other 4 pinned the man to the ground.
"Y/N I love you! I'll find you again!" The man shouted.
The next thing I know, I'm laid out on the floor, looking up to about 20 shocked faces. Lupin is looking down at me and Fred is clutching my side. I try to get up, "woah steady. You've just passed out!" Lupin says to me, "class dismissed" he calls. There are a few groans but everyone turns and leaves the room. Leaving only me and Fred, Lupin smiles eagerly at me.
"Y/N, what you just saw then, was a memory. A rather important one as well. A memory that has been locked in your brain for the last 16 years of your life. Do you have any idea what it was?"
"Erm no not really. I'm going to try and work it out though" I say, I'm rather confused.
"Alright, run along them" Lupin says, "also eat this. It's alright it's only chocolate." I mumble a quick, thanks and make my way out of the classroom.
I take Freds hand, pulling him along with me.
"What was that all about?" He ask me.
"Not a clue" I reply, honestly.
The week comes to an end quickly, and people prepare for the weekend. Me and Fred are sat in my room as usual, discussing our plans.
"So what are you thinking of doing this weekend Y/N?" He asks me.
"Nothing really. There's not much I can do" I say.
"Well, would you like to come to Hogsmede with me? Just the two of us?" He asks.
Was he asking me out on a date?
"Sure why not" I notice the once nervous looking face, has been replaced by a smile.
The next day couldn't come any slower as I await it. I'm so excited. Waking up bright and early, I want to take make an impression today, dress up for a change.
I rummage through my drawers and notice an outfit I can pull together. It's already the beginning of December, so is still absolutely freezing but I'll make it work.
A knock sounds at my door. "Come in" i hell.
"Hey darling. Ready to go?" Fred asks.
"Sure let's go"
We walk towards the carriages, the beautiful snow settling upon the concrete ground. Fred steps into a carriage and offers a hand out to me, which I gladly accept.
"So where do you want to go first?" Fred asks me.
"Erm, well that's the thing" I confess, "I've never actually been to Hogsmede."
"Oh right yes I forgot!" Fred starts, "I keep forgetting you've lived in France for the last 5 years. Do you Miss it?"
"Sometimes I miss my friends. I really only had one true friend, but I miss her deeply. She was very quiet, quite the opposite to me really. And she sucked at English" I laughed.
"I forgot to ask you. How come my mum knew to take you in?" Fred asks.
"Well" I replied, shuffling my feet, "your mum was an old family friend of my uncles. I contacted him to ask where I could stay and he said that Molly would always take me in. So I owled her and she immediately picked me up the next day"
"She loves you, you know?" He asked before changing the subject. "So, are you excited for Christmas?"
"Erm I guess, it'll be a little boring though. I'm staying at the castle, there's no way that I'm going home. Not after Oliver's told them about me joining the quidditch team." I confess.
"Your not staying here" he commands, "that's it, your coming home with me."
"No Freddie, I'll be fine here. It's important that you get some of your own family time."
"Y/N, don't you see? You are my family now! I'll write to mum tomorrow and let her know that your coming. She won't mind."
Hogsmede is gorgeous. Fred has taken me to a small shop called Honeydukes, which he insisted on buying me a chocolate frog from. Then we visited Zonkos, which he seemed extremely excited about. I decided to surprise him and buy him something from the shop. He kept on glancing at the joke product, but checking the price and putting it back. In the end I just ended up buying it for him, which he was extremely grateful for.
After a rather pleasant day, with the boy I loved so much, he lead me to a little pub called 'the three broomsticks'.
"What do you want darling, the traditional?" He asks as he gets up to leave the table we were sitting. I give him a confused look. "You know, just the usual butter bear?"
He takes a minute to observe my blank face, surely you've tried butter bear before?" He asks, I shook my head, ive never even heard of such a thing.
"I can't believe this, this girl has never tried a butter bear!" He says, exaggerating, to no one that's actually listening. Before I had the chance to say anything else, he walks off to the bar.
After a few minutes, he returns, two orange drinks in hand. He passed one over to me and encourages me to try it. I took a long gulp of the liquid, causing my insides to warm up straight away. I love this thing!
Fred starts laughing. "What?" I ask.
"Love, you've got a foam moustache" he says, toppling over with laughter. This boy, I swear he finds everything funny. I quickly wipe my mouth before joining back in with the laughter.
"So then, are the older boys home for Christmas?" I ask.
"Yep, both Bill and Charlie are home for the first time in years. I'm looking forward to it, especially Charlie, since he moved to Romania, we barely ever hear from him." He relies.
"That'll be nice then, to meet your brothers" I say, "What're they like? Do you think they'll like me!?" I start to panic.
"Of course they'll like you! What's not to like, your pretty and good at everything you do" Fred laughs as I feel myself going deep red.
"Aww thanks Weasley" I laugh.
We are sat in the three broom sticks when Lee and George walk in. Me and Fred decide to wave them over and they sit across from us in the booth. We are laughing and joking about our days, when a very unhappy Angelina walks in.
You can tell Freddie was panicking, she's basically always all over him. Fred nudges me with his shoulder and nods his head at Angelina. I give him a confused look. He quickly picks me up by the waist and sits me on his knee so that I'm straddling his waist. I'm paralysed, what is he doing?
He leans in and whispers in my ear, "Y/N, she's coming this way. I hate that girl, can I please kiss you?"
I look over towards Angelina who is making our way past the many students to us, I quickly interlock my lips with Freds. His kiss isn't soft or gentle as it had been before. This one was full of passion. I threw my arms around his neck and his hands made his way to my thighs. I pulled away from the kiss, to notice an angry Angelina storming out the door, not looking back. I suddenly become aware of what's just happened and see the many people from Hogwarts looking our way. I swing my leg from over Fred and back to the side of him. God, I know I'm blushing.
"What the hell way that?" Lee asks, obviously he couldn't find any words to string a sentence together. Fred catches my eye and I can tell his in one of his jokey moods, so I do the same.
"Oh sorry, did I forget to mention that we got together?" Fred asked the two boys.
"What!" They both reply!
"Lee you owe me 5 gallons!" George screamed.
"No you said at Christmas! Technically we both owe 5 to Mcgonagall, she said before Christmas!"
"You guys bet on us?" I ask.
"Course we did! It was obvious you'd end up together, it was just a debate as to when." George replies.
"Well Y/N, I have to say I'm very happy he's asked you. Maybe now we can finally stop talking about you every 5 seconds" Lee smirked.
"LEE!" Fred practically shouted, "we aren't really! It was a fucking joke"
Both Lee and George snigger. He thinks about me? Why?
Eventually we make our way back to the castle, quietly chatting to ourselves.
"Thank you for today Freddie. I loved it!" I say happily.
"Your welcome darling, maybe we can go again" he says.
"Definitely"
"Come on, just for two seconds would you two stop flirting" Lee shouts from in front.
We both laugh and continue into the castle.
We make our way up the many flights of stairs and too our rooms. Before I can shut mine, a certain Weasley comes barging in. He sits on my bed and stares at me, noticing my revealing night wear.
Pulling his eyes off me he says, "I'm so sick and tired of Angelina! She's only told the whole common room that her boyfriend has kissed another girl! Now everyone thinks I'm a cheat!"
I had to laugh a little, "who cares Freddie, people know your not with her and I think that most have learnt not to trust a thing that comes out that girls mouth.
"That's not the point though, no matter how many times I tell her that we are nothing, she just won't stay away. Freddie this, Freddie that. Hey you know my boyfriend Freddie! For gods sake! It's Fred to you!" He mimics.
"Fred it's fine" I say walking over to him.
"It's Freddie to you" he laughs.
I pull him into a tight hug.
"There's something that you could do for me though" he says.
"Really? And what's that?" I knew I'd help him, the boys obviously struggling with her.
"Date me" two words I'd been waiting to hear for ages, but that's not right, if we were dating for real, I knew Freddie wouldn't just blurt it out.
"Fake date me, we act the way most couples do, all the time. It'll make Angelina and the rest of the girls back off a bit. And the boys from you!" He laughs. Fake date, that's the catch. Normally I wouldn't agree to anything like this. My brain was telling me to say no, yet my heart was daring me to say yes.
"Alright, fine Freddie. I will be your fake girlfriend. But there will be rules." I say.
"Of course. Thanks Y/N. So I'll hold your hand, but I already do that. Can I kiss you? Not like we did the three broom sticks, but peck your lips when we go to different classes? I'll also walk you to your classes but your basically in the same ones as me anyway" he laughs.
"Ok Freddie" I say, getting lost in the excitement of his eyes.
