15 ~ Happy

There was the quiet sound of distant cars as you walked down the street. You had walked around aimlessly for hours now since you didn't feel tired and you found yourself looking at your right hand. Your hand was still injured exposing the metal underneath but your fingers were almost all functioning except your thumb, you couldn't help but think about how hoseok would freak out if he knew you were injured. He would probably run around while he panicked to get his tools to attempt to fix your hand like he had when he fixed the wound on your leg when you first met him.

But you wouldn't see hoseok again

You wouldn't see taehyung, chaemi, or...jungkook too

You had thought that jungkook enjoyed having you around since you had been with him for a month but apparently you were wrong...but now you were gone from his life and he could live happily now. 

You looked at the ground while you continued walking and you wondered where you were going. You didn't need to eat or sleep. Maybe you could just walk around until the cold metal you were made of wore down...but how long would that take

"get out, I don't care where you go but leave. I don't need you, I never asked for you to be here"

Right, it didn't matter where you were going, all you had to do was leave and make sure you never saw jungkook again...

You were interrupted from your thoughts when you accidently bumped into someone "my apologizes" you said while the male looked at you and you recognized the man. This man was someone you memorized... because of pure fear

"you, you're that human that pretended to be a robot" he glared while he looked at you and you simply spoke "please move". You felt nervous as you stared at the human that had given you the injury on your hand 

Then he looked around you and he seemed to smirk when he noticed that no one else was around, not a single robot or human "what your robot not around today huh" he laughed while he angrily shoved you to the ground

"please move aside" you said simply as you got up from the ground and the man laughed before kicking you back to the ground just as quickly as you had got up . You felt the impact of the kick but your metal interior softened the blow greatly.

However, you heard a little clink of metal hitting the cement. Your eyes traveled to the side and you froze seeing the small necklace you always wore had broken off and fallen to the ground. You quickly tried to pick up the necklace but the man crushed your hand under his foot

Then he saw your hand clearly. The hand he was steeping on was the one he had stabbed and his eyes seemed to widened as he saw the injury 

"you're a robot" the man seethed out in anger while you simply stayed there with your hand covering the necklace

"move your hand" but you still kept your hand over the necklace

"MOVE" he growled out with hatred in his eyes...he looked just like jungkook did

You wondered why everyone seemed to hate you, what did you do wrong

But as your eyes landed on your injured hand covering your necklace so desperately you still didn't move. You knew that deep down this necklace was the only thing that gave you hope, the only thing that could possibly lead to someone who wanted you 

Someone who could be looking for you

Someone who didn't stare at you with hatred in their eyes

Someone who would happily call you by your name

"fine, you're not moving your hand. I'll MAKE you" the male seethed out while his eyes darkened and you watched as his foot raised and he slammed it down over your hand, he did it over and over but you refused to move your hand

System Danger: Right hand needs repair

When the male realized his stomps weren't working he decided to kick you but you still refused to move your hand. This necklace was all you had left

"YOU STUPID SCRAP METAL" he angrily screamed

Right you were just metal...you were just metal so why did you feel so hopeless

He then continued to stomp your hand until the metal joints and wires were damaged to the point where you wouldn't be able to curl your hand together

"GIVE UP" he screamed but you simply stayed on the ground 

Your hand soon lost the ability to move properly and to could no longer protect the necklace.

Then a loud crunch was heard as the male stomped down once more and the necklace broke under your hand and the weight of his stomp. His eyes seemed to light up in satisfaction when he saw the necklace that you tried so hard to protect was ruined

"you stupid robot" the man then kicked you once more before leaving you there with a pure look of joy on his face

You slowly sat up on the ground and lifted your right arm and stared at it. The synthetic flesh around your hand was gone and all you could see was the damaged metal underneath as you could no longer move your hand.

Then your eyes landed on the crushed necklace just beside you as you thought

Why

Why did he break it. Why did they look at you with hatred, but then you remembered everything jungkook and that human male said over and over...and you realized

You must have deserved it. Being a robot, was something disgusting.

Something to hate.

You felt a wet droplet his your uninjured hand and you looked up to the sky before a loud rumble was heard and the rain poured down from the dark sky. You leaned back on the cement wall of the alleyway you were in as the rain poured down and you couldn't help but think

This was just like before, when you first rebooted

You were abandoned and left alone all again

But you deserved it

You deserved all of this sadness because you were just a robot

Your eyes wandered to the smashed necklace once again but you froze seeing something unfamiliar coming out of the small necklace, there was a small chip. You zoomed in using your eyes and truly there was.

You reached for the chip with your uninjured hand and you observed it

Chip H detected: Opening Chip H port

This...this was the H chip. You stared at the small chip knowing it could help you remember. However, you couldn't help but feel scared because you wondered if wanted to know if you were actually abandoned... or maybe there was someone waiting for you

Maybe you could be happy too...

You saw that a very small opening formed near your chest, the opening was closer to the upper area and could be seen since you wore the large baggy sweater hoseok had given you. You paused as you stared but then you slowly put the chip inside as the opening closed

Chip H received: processing

Then your vision blurred until the city lights faded and you saw black
