Remembering the directions that Kye had given you on your first day of class, you go to the building right next to the Trainer's School, which is the lab and go inside.

When you enter, you see Kye talking to an older man who has silver hair and green eyes. Unlike Kye, the older man has his lab coat buttoned up and wore black slacks instead of jeans. It seemed that you had walked in on an argument of sorts.

"Now Kye, enough of this." the old man said. "There's no solid proof of that theory of yours."

"That's why we should look into the time period before gym and league battles became a thing." Kye countered. "One of the only people that were trainers during that time is the Champion. If we could just talk to her then-"

"I'm sure the Champion has much more to do than entertain a theory that probably won't solve these strange occurrences revolving around the disappearance of Eevee. Now why don't you-" the man stops midsentence when he notices you standing there. "Oh, you must be [Name]. I've heard a lot about you from all the teachers at the School. My name is Thompson Craig, the pokemon professor of this region. You being here must only mean one thing...you've passed your Trainer's Exam and are ready to pick your first pokemon. Very well then, take your pick."
