This is based on a pokemon comic series called Eeveelution squad. This is a AU where Speed, Crystal, and Flare have an older sibling. If you never read Eeveelution squad, read it first before reading this.

Everything goes as normal, until 5 new members has join in on the Eeveelution Squad. New friends, new family, and new timeline. In a distant timeline, forever from now, the Eeveelution Squad attempts to make sense of the reality around them and craft a timeline that will ultimately fulfill Alan's wish, putting a stop to the condition that allows the Berserker Virus to percolate all dimensions. -(Book 1, Fever Dreams)- Three years after the events of the prologue, the Eeveelution Squad is officially formed, though that isn't to say that there aren't struggles. This entry-a rather complex one-marks the beginning of the squad's journey to revelation, whilst maintaining some major plot points of the original.

A full team of ten eeveelutions (including two new eeveelutions!) go on adventures, crawl through dungeons, fall in love, do weird stuff, defeat evil, and have fun! Arc 1 Description: 18 year old leafeon Cole has lived with only his 9 year old shiny eevee sister Bird for three years, ever since his mother left to find his lost father. When he invites his friend Diamond the espeon, her brother, her two adopted sisters, and her friends to live in his expansive house, little did Cole know what would happen over the course of two weeks. Arc 2 Description: Love is in the air for the team as Flash the jolteon and Lapis the vaporeon get married and Elena the sylveon tries to make moves on Cole. However, the romance is quickly silenced by a pokenapping, and the team splits up for a rescue and a request. Arc 3 Description: Stuck in the past, Cole, Elena, and Sol the flareon have to free the throne of the kingdom from an evil flareon to rescue the only pokemon that can send them back to their time.

How does this change things? From what I've seen, this pairing isn't all that popular, but I always kinda liked it. Maybe because I like childhood friend pairings, maybe because Alan and Stella made me like Jolteon/Sylveon pairings, but I think it's pretty cute. Gonna be a bit of a slowburn, though, in terms of both romance and character development. Also, this isn't gonna be a big thing against Speed x Lazuli, I also like Speed x Lazuli (probably because i like tsunderes), but it's just not a focus of this fic. Probably also not going to focus on/ignore any of the Berserker and war stuff since writing action and deep lore is not really my style. Eeveelution Squad is owned by EV-Zero on DeviantArt.
