"oikawa grab the paper and stop whining." iwaizumi said as he sat down at the dining table. oikawa groaned as he stood up from the couch with his back slouching and a scowl on his face.

"your mean iwa-chan!" oikawa shouted at his friend as he stocked to his bedroom. there on the bed was a few bags and wrapping paper to prepare the gifts for their friends and teammates.

oikawa grabbed the wrapping paper as he listened to his friend complain about how long he was taking. he picked up the red and white bags lastly before he walked out to see his friend with a pair of scissors and tape prepared to wrap gifts.

"why can't i wrap them iwa-chan?" oikawa poured as he sat the items down on the table before he dropped down into a chair. "because you can't wrap a gift without either getting a papercut, giving up, or it turns out looking like crap and i have to re-do it."

oikawa groaned as he put his elbows on the table before he rested his head on his left. iwaizumi sighed as he began to start to wrap the gifts.

the first gift was for makki. it was a calendar oikawa had ordered off of some random american website. on the cover was taylor swift..iwaizumi chuckled thinking back to the time he and oikawa had caught makki screaming some random song of hers as he danced around in just his sock and boxers.

iwaizumi began to wrap the gift as oikawa took a sip of his hot chocolate trying to be as stuck up seeming as he could. he knew eventually his friend would let him wrap one of the gifts but he just had to wait.

"iwa-chan! here's little kunimis! remember last month when he was snuggling with kindaichi during break!" iwaizumi nodded as he took a little box from oikawa's hands. "welll i did some digging and they've been dating since their 2nd year of secondary school!" iwaizumi chuckled as his friend continued to ramble on about how "truly shocking these events are"

"it's honestly not that surprising oikawa." oikawa sighed as he laid his head down on the table. "i want food! iwa-chan go get me food!" oikawa instructed his friend with a little scowl still on his face. "go make your on food shittykawa." oikawa huffed in frustration. "fine!" iwaizumi watched as his friend left the room with an angry smirk on his face.

he continued to stroll thru the gifts like they were nothing until he got to one he himself had placed in the pile. he sighed as he grabbed some red and white wrapping paper and a white bow.

so far he had makki, kunimi, kindaichi, and yahaba gifts wrapped. he looked at the little box that sat in front of him and glanced at the doorway to see if his friend was back yet. surprisingly he heard humming from the kitchen so he just assumed his friend was still in the kitchen getting himself food.

he glanced again at the little box before he sighed as he picked up the box. his eyebrows furrowed as he stared at the gift. a look of dismay painted on his face as he stared at it. he had bought this gift so long ago that he had completely forgotten it was here.

he sighed as he began to wrap the gift. oikawa walked out of the kitchen with a large glass of water but nothing else in his hands. "i thought you said you were hungry..?" iwaizumi said as he taped down the wrapping paper. "i was but as soon as i walked into the kitchen i felt like seeing you again so i got water and came back out here!" iwaizumi could feel his face getting redder by the second but decided to ignore it.

"whose present is that? i don't remember buying any thing that little." oikawa asked as he sat down at the table. iwaizumi muttered something under his breath that oikawa couldn't hear and that annoyed oikawa. he started to whine about how secretive iwaizumi was being even tho he really wasn't and oikawa knew that he just wanted to mess with his friend.
