Pokemon Ascendance

Before Reading

So this is a fanmade region that I've been working on for a while now. I'm...going to at least try to write it as a reader insert so it's like you yourself are going through the story (which I designed as if this was a pokemon game that you could play). Or you can think of this as kind of reading a script of those kinds of YouTube videos where someone goes over what their fake region or gym/league would work out. But before there are a few things to know.

1) The only fakemon in here are the starters, other eeveelutions, the legendaries, and regional variants that don't exist, everything else will be pokemon that do exist

2) Aside from the hand drawings of the starters, none of the art displayed throughout the story is mine. All credit goes to the respective artists

3) The teams I made for all the characters probably aren't super balanced for gameplay so even though I'll be listing moves and abilities, don't think too much on it cause the movesets would probably have to be changed around a bit for actual fair game mechanics. Not to mention everything with the league I can kinda see if some consider taking it too far. (this is also why I'm leaving out levels).

4) If this had game mechanics then something new would be seeing the nicknames of pokemon during battles and not just seeing the names during contests like in previous games

5) Don't think too much on the geography cause...I don't have enough world-building skills or creativity to have a clear picture of that yet. Maybe one day I'll create a map but right now there's only a general idea of where cities are. Just think fantasy world-like for this region.

6) For pokemon that live in the Holon Region...it's honestly a little bit of every region since as you'll see throughout the story, the gym leaders, Elite Four, and Champion either had connections to other regions or actually went and traveled to another region
