1 year later

Glimmering golden rays of the sun set behind trees, painting the once bright blue sky and beautiful orange hue, glowing down as it slowly lowered in the sky. Faint sparkles of stars appeared, but ever so slowly.

Time wrapped around with music blaring just inside the house that set on the hill. Pink and white balloons decorated the front porch, streamers wrapped around the beams, and fairy lights entangled them.

Outside was peaceful, not a single sound heard, but what was happening inside was the polar opposite. Music blared within the large house, Aespa sitting in her highchair as Taehyung and Jungkook sat on either side.

Party guests crowded around them as they watched the now one year old take a fistful of her birthday cake. Jungkook smiled wide, giggling as he watched his daughter shove her fist in her mouth.

Hoseok and Jimin had picked out the cake decorations, even decorating it themselves as Namjoon baked it. Seokjin and Yoongi decorated the house with all things Aespa loved, presents piling onto the table.

The music playing wasn't too loud, not wanting to cause any hearing damage to the little girl. Taehyung recorded all the precious moments onto his phone, chuckling every now and then behind camera as he managed to get both of the most precious people in the frame.

"Do you like it?" Jungkook asked the little girl, not at all expecting a response as she nodded her head and shoved her fist into her mouth. The boy glanced up and saw Taehyung recording them, causing a blushing smile to scatter across his features. "Look at daddy."

He pointed to the camera, causing Aespa to look over with her fist still in her mouth, eyes looking directly at the lens. Taehyung laughed at the look of his daughter. Pink and white frosting was all over her face.

He stopped recording to snap a quick picture, which had come out like a professional had taken it themself. He stared in awe at the photo displayed on his screen, saving it and making a mental note to get it developed and framed.

Taehyung pocketed his phone as they allowed the child to continue making a mess of her birthday cake, smiling in adoration as they watched and took a bite every time she offered them some.

Hours passed before the sun had completely vanished from the sky, turning it pitch black as small dots painted the canvas. A canopy of stars strung above them, the night chilling and quiet as everyone cleaned up the party mess.

Jungkook had set Aespa down on the ground and let her play with some of her gifts she had gotten. His smile had never faltered every time he glanced over at her, unable to wipe it off his face as they put chairs away and threw trash in the bin.

Taehyung was busy stacking chairs and cleaning off the tables in the ballroom with Jimin. The delta nudged him with his elbow, grabbing the alpha's attention, "Are you gonna tell him?"

The alpha glanced over at Jungkook, who had squatted down and played with the little girl on the ground before gazing back at the other. "Yeah. I think so. I planned on doing it after we put Aespa down for bed," He whispered.

Jimin only nodded, shutting his mouth when he saw the ravenette making his way over. Arms looped around Taehyung's waist as a chaste kiss was pressed to his cheek. Taehyung smiled, dipping his head and capturing the boy's lips with his own in a tasteful kiss.

Jungkook had let a moan slip from his nose that had Jimin snapping his head up with terror in his eyes. It wasn't the first time they had gotten a little too carried away with kissing in front of others.

"Child in the room," Jimin said quietly, a little uncomfortable with the noises Jungkook was making as he held up a hand in hopes it would get them to stop. Taehyung pulled away before glancing over his shoulder at the older, rolling his eyes.
