As many times Taehyung had told Jungkook not to worry about it, he couldn't help but to. He had decided to pack a few of the pictures just so he could look at them and see if there was a minor thing that resembled either his mom or his dad.

He had been staring at them for hours now, not leaving the old pack house as he felt like he couldn't look away. There was something off about this—about the pictures and how he didn't look like either of his parents, nor did he look like his brother in that matter.

It bothered him, really, and he didn't know what to think anymore. He had been raised by these people his whole life, spending twenty-two birthdays with them, twenty-two Christmases—literally everything. He had grown up here and these were the people who raised him.

Now, he wasn't so sure about it anymore. He looked nothing like the people in the photos, and it was bothering him more than it should've. They weren't here for him to ask questions, but at the same time, he was glad they weren't here because he wouldn't know where to begin.

What he wanted to know most was if they were his biological parents, if he was adopted or if he just so happened not to look like either his mom or his dad. So many questions flooded his mind, and he didn't know what to do.

His throat was tightening, like an invisible hand was wrapped around his neck, and he could no longer breathe. He was having trouble getting air into his lungs, everything overwhelming for the young alpha, and he didn't know what to do.

"You okay?" That same voice that belonged to none other than Taehyung had brought him away from his drowning thoughts and back to reality where he could breathe again.

A hand was on his shoulder as he stood in front of the one he couldn't seem to take his eyes off of or walk away from. The hand on him was warm, and the voice was concerning as Taehyung stood beside him and gazed at the boy with a little bit of worry.

Jungkook glanced away from the picture for the first time that day just to look at Taehyung for just a brief second before he was staring at it again. He barely nodded his head as he croaked out a small, "Yeah."

As much as Taehyung didn't believe the young alpha, he didn't pester him anymore, and just nodded but kept his hand on the boy's shoulder and stared at the photo with him. He was regretting ever bringing it up in the first place, knowing well enough this was going to bother Jungkook until he got the answers he wanted.

The room fell silent as the pair gazed intently at the picture, studying it just to memorize the faces shown. Their smiles didn't match Jungkook's bunny-like one, and their eyes weren't shifted into small crescents either like his.

It bewildered Taehyung, really, wondering why there was no resemblance between him and his parents, but he didn't want to dwell on it so he looked away and removed his hand from the boy's shoulder when he noticed it was still resting there.

"How about you show me around?" Taehyung suggested, wanting to draw Jungkook's attention away from the photos so he was no longer analyzing them. Jungkook looked away from the wall and was now looking at Taehyung, who was standing by the bedroom door and opening it to step out.

"Why?" He asked as he began to slowly stride away from the pictures hanging on the walls and making his way towards the blond-haired male with furrowed eyebrows and a slightly parted mouth.

Taehyung shrugged as he stood in the hallway in front of Jungkook's old childhood bedroom, looking up and down the hall as the boy stood in front of him, only about a foot away, though.

"Kinda interested in learning about where the famous Jeon Jungkook grew up at," Taehyung merely answered with a box-like grin as he looked at the youngest, who couldn't help but roll his eyes.

"There's not much to learn about," Jungkook stated monotonously, looking down the hallway where his parents bedroom was located, only to quickly glance away so he wasn't bombarded by painful memories of them.

Taehyung hummed with a small nod of his head, hands shoved deep within his jeans pockets as he wandered down the stairs with Jungkook trailing behind him, "Well, there has to be something we can do here. I'm kinda bored."

"Then why don't you just go back home?" Jungkook suggested, hoping Taehyung would get the hint and leave him alone for the rest of the day as he stood on the last step with his arms folded neatly over his chest. "Aren't you worried about leaving the pack alone?"

"They'll survive without me for a few hours I'm sure," Taehyung stated matter of factly as he wandered into a room that had a grand piano and a guitar. His eyes went to the beautiful black piano placed in the corner, standing in front of it as his fingers' feather-like touch glided over the white keys.

Jungkook remembered the piece of instrument, remembering how his dad had only began teaching him how to play the the guitar. His fingers itched to touch the piece of instrument, but he didn't know if his heart could handle it.

He looked away from it when Taehyung's fingers started pressing down on keys and creating a beautiful sound that filled Jungkook's ears. His eyes were round as he looked at the elder, watching how his fingers moved and pressed down the keys to create a beautiful piece that Jungkook grew a liking of.

"You play?" He asked once the sweet melody came to a stop shortly after, his eyes shifted from Taehyung's long, slender fingers and to his face, taking in his side profile as the older nodded only a little. "I didn't know that."

"To be fair, we don't do a lot of talking," He mused with a small grin as he sat on the bench and shoved his hands in his lap, looking up at the youngest. "Do you know how to play?" He asked, gesturing to both instruments with his chin.

"Uh . . . no, I don't. My dad was actually just beginning to teach me how to play the guitar," He answered with a small shrug of his shoulders, looking away from Taehyung and admiring the guitar setting beside him.

"I can teach you," Taehyung offered, and this had Jungkook's head snapping up with round eyes and parted lips, asking, "What?"

"I can teach you how to play both," He said again nonchalantly as he used his right hand to mindlessly play and press down on the keys and creating a random tune that filled Jungkook's ears.

A light pink dusted Taehyung's cheeks once the words fell from his lips and out into the thin air that filled Jungkook's ears, seeming a little bashful for even suggesting such an offer for the boy as he avoided Jungkook's piercing gaze.

This had Jungkook's heart feeling a little soft at the way Taehyung was a little flustered by his sweet and innocent offer, and it was something he couldn't find himself saying no to. "That .  . . That actually sounds really cool," He softly spoke to the elder with a sweet smile.

Taehyung had glanced up at the boy and opened his mouth to say something, but his phone had stopped him as the ringing from the device cut through the thick silence surrounding them and caused him to quickly answer it as he stepped outside to take the call.

He left Jungkook alone in the room with the untouched instruments, the boy knowing absolutely nothing about the pieces as he sat down on the bench and grazed his feather-like fingertips over the black and white keys, pressing down on random ones and making a god awful tune that just didn't fit right.

It wasn't long before Taehyung had came back inside and poked his head into the room he had left Jungkook in, "We gotta go. Now."
