I can't see anything, my visions so fuzzy. I feel cold, why do I feel so cold? There are voices near me, what stones are they talking about? Have they noticed that I'm awake?

I hear the same voices let out a piercing scream, electricity crackles in the air. My eyes bolted open, consciousness barely in my grasp. A force field protects me from the electrical prod above me. My body is strapped down to a table and I can feel my limbs strain against the restraints. My mind starts to fade while the black shield protects me, it's draining. My consciousness slips once again as I see the shield fade in and out.

When I wake up again, I'm restraint free, locked in a dimly lit cell. I lay on a cold stone slab that functions as a makeshift bed. I sit up only to realize how sore I am and immediately collapse back onto the slab. I groan in agony, my body feels like it was hit by two trains at an intersection. I look around the room again, noticing a figure outside the door, visible only from the small window near the top of the door. The figure paces in and out of the window, I quickly discern that the figure is Sheer. Part of me wanted to go see if she would open the door and give her a hug, however, another part of me wanted to demand why she had betrayed me, demand if there was ever anything actually there. I turn away from the door, knowing I can't tackle that problem right now. I return to my thought, attempting to contact the Black Cosmo Stone.

I felt its presence in my mind but everytimeI said something, there was an uncomfortable silence. I had never been alone with my thoughts like this since the start of this whole incident. Even when the cosmo stone didn't say anything, it always felt like some form of silent company. Now it just felt like sitting next to a stranger on a bus. I was startled from my thoughts when Sheer opened the door. She walked wordlessly towards me, swinging some handcuffs idly. If it was any other situation, maybe I would've felt a little different about it.

"Sit up and stick out your hands." She orders and I comply, swinging my legs over the edge of the slab so that I was sitting facing her. She clipped the handcuff on me and led me towards the door, and into a hallway. As we descend through the hallway, she glances towards me, obviously wondering if I'm going to say something. I say nothing and I don't look her in the eyes. We walk into a large room, where Gabro and Foolscap sit in pod-like chairs. There's a third empty chair, that I assume to be Sheer's, the room itself is made up of pale blue and pink walls and floor. I stood there as Spectre's face projected onto the wall.

"So that's the leader of the group that's been giving me so much trouble? Wow! I didn't expect you to be so small and adorable!" Spectre mused, waving his handkerchief playfully.

I barely stopped the growl in my throat from coming out, he continued, unphased by my glare.

"Any news on how to get it out of her?"

"We tried sir but it seems that the stone has some defense mechanisms."

"Then control her, I don't see what the problem is. She is just a human."

My heartbeat quickened, control me? What did that mean?
