Chapter 98

-2 months later -

I was picking up Michael from his new apartment, tomorrow was MJs first birthday party so we were heading to my dads beach house

i honked for the 5th time waiting for Michael to come out

a few minutes later he comes out with his bag

I opened the trunk for him, he puts his bag in and looks around

i roll my eyes and roll down my window "dont think about getting any candy because i will cut your hand"

he laughs and shuts the trunk and gets in

"is he asleep?" he turns to the back seat

"yeah he just fell asleep"

i start driving , about 30 minute drive to Malibu.... hooray

note to sarcasm

"so did you invite your parents?" I ask

"yeah they said they were coming, I gave them the time and address and all"

Michaels parents moved to Washington state and im glad I havent seen them, not to be mean but I dont know what will happen when we see each other and i hope that if they do come to MJs party they behave for MJs sake

I invited Luke and he said forsure he was coming tomorrow early, he wanted to go today but I didnt want to make stuff awkward

Luke and I hooked up a couple of times after the bathroom incident but still not together

ive just had weak days when he visits MJ

half of me regrets it but the other half craves it every time I see him

damn it Jacqueline stop!

"is Luke coming?" Michael asks

i nod "yeahh he said he was coming so i guess"

"thats cool"

MIchael got extremely teary when MJ called him daddy or 'addy' like MJ says

i cried a little , it was very emotional

"so what time is the bouncy house getting there tomorrow?" he asks

"should be there by noon " i say

"okay cool, we are coming back on sunday right?"

"yeahhh, today we just start some decorating , party tomorrow and sunday we can come back, except that my parents, cal and Gen are staying with us tomorrow night"  I explain

"okay cool"

we turn on the radio and Ed Sheeran Thinking out loud starts playing

"oh my god this is our song!" i blast the volume a little and start singing

Michael pretends hes serenading me and i cant help but laugh

"remember we met Ed!?" i smile widely

"actually I do" he says "good lad"

"lad"

"lad" he repeats

"holy shit i forgot to Invite Niall oh my god im such a bad person, im mad at him but still! and Ed well Ed is nearly impossible but oh god"

"its fine Nialls probbaly busy" he says emotionless

"whats wrong?" i ask

"nothing , just didnt really remember to Invite Niall, i talked to him a few times but totally forgot to invite him im sorry"
