Chapter 65

"okay heres the thing im paying the crib and everything and you wait by the exit" i tell Luke

"shut up im next anyways" i try getting the crib but he pulls it away

instead of just paying the crib he actually pays for everything I got

"wh- no luke!"

"shhh youre welcome"

"why did you do that!?" i ask

"$346.98" the cashier says

oh my god , i quickly got my wallet but Luke already swiped his card. Where the hell does Luke get money from he doesn't even work.

"Can you carry these bags?" he hands me about three bags, he carries the big crib box and 3 other bags

we both walk outside to the parking lot "let me call my mom to pick me up, she went to run some errands

"ill take you home" he offers

i shake my head "thats okay"

"no come on lets go I parked over there" he leads the way, a new car i havent seen is parked in front of us

"whos car is it?" I ask

"mine"

"ive never seen this car or knew of you having cars" i say

"theres alot of things about me you dont know" he opens the trunk and sets everything inside

we both climb into the car and drive off

Luke wasnt driving to my house , the way was totally different. We stopped in a familiar street, ive been here before.

"okay wait here, lock the doors and hide, whatever you do Jackie dont open the door to anyone, these windows dont break so there is no way in hell someone can make you open the door Ive paid a shitload of money to get all this cusomized so you should be safe here just hide and dont open at all! dont be trying to find out whats happening just trust me " he says

"Luke what the hell youre scaring me"

"just do it okay? If im not back in 5 minutes leave, theres an extra key in the glove department "

"im not leaving you"

he smiles, he leans in and kisses my lips "when i get back in a few minutes i want to talk to you about something"

i nod and bite my lip, i push the seat all the way back and slide down to the feet section, thank god my stomach isnt that big or else there is now ay i couldve fit here

Luke gets out the car slowly, i see his head looking in every direction before walking off, i quickly lock the doors and take a deep breath

what the hell is up with Luke, hes always putting my life in danger for no reason, it was fine yesterday we made up in a way and today he showed me a side of him that i never knew. He bought my baby stuff , he doesnt even buy me or anyone anything at all.

Michael please give me some sort of sign here I dont know what youre trying to lead me to here

I sit there waiting and hoping Luke can come back faster

a few minutes later Luke opens the door and drives off

"can i sit up now?" i ask

he nods "sorry"

"what was that about?"

"nothing"

i look out the window then it hit me "Wait" i say "you used to live there didnt you?"
