My mom embraces me into a tight hug as she starts crying
Next thing I know I'm crying really hard
"I'm sorry honey!" She cries
"No mom I'm sorry ... For everything "
"I am so proud of you, you finally graduated . My baby is growing up so fast"
I laugh and wipe her tears away
"I love you mom"
"I love you too baby" she smiles then turns to dad "Mark!"
My dad shakes his head and walks up to me and hugs me gently
"Congratulations " he kisses my forehead
When he pulls away I finally notice the place
Balloons all over , a big "congratulations Jackie" banner,
Cake and food
Everything was decorated and so beautiful
"Oh my god " I say
"You like it?" Calums asks
"I love it!, who's idea was it !?" I smile
"Lukes " Ashton says
I turn to Luke who was sitting there awkwardly
"Thank you Luke" I smile a little
He nods but doesn't say anything
The rest of the night was chilled
Michael called me about a party for graduates
I'm going back home today
I talked it out with my parents and everything is great
They were in my graduation , they heard everything I said
Me and Luke haven't talked much and I am certainly not looking forward to another fight
Before leaving I thank Calum for the 10000000th time for letting me stay there
Finally in my room i start getting ready
Incoming Call:Michael
I couldn't leave his name as babe
I quickly answer "hiii" I say
"Jackie? Jackie!" He yells
"Michael what's wrong?"
"I'm outside your house can you come out quickly please" he sounds in a hurry
"Okay " I quickly hang up grab my purse and heels and run out
My mom knew exactly where I was going so she shouldn't get worried tonight
I quickly got into Michael car before I could close the door he was speeding off
"Michael what's wrong ?" I ask
"As soon as I parked outside your house Chrissy called me saying that her and Michelle got into an accident" he tried to calm himself down
"Oh my god , Michael please calm down"
He nods "she sounded fine maybe it wasn't bad? She said they're in the hospital right now so I'm driving over there if that's okay?"
"Of course !" I say "just calm down okay? Everything will be fine" I assure him
"I just don't know what to expect, I'm so new to this" he says
I grab his hand and squeeze it "I'm here for you"
"Thank you, I love you" he says
"I love you too"
I call my mom and explain everything to her she got confused and felt betrayed by Michael apparently but I told her I would explain later
We got to the hospital and we spot Chrissy in the waiting room
"How's Michelle?" He quickly asks
"Not so good, she's in surgery" she lowers her head , I can tell she's trying not to cry
I go up to her and hug her , maybe ts awkward for me to do this but in these situations you have to push away any history
"She's going to be fine" I say
She gives me a small smile and thanks me
Michael and I take a seat as we wait for any news
"What happened ?" He asks
"Accident" she says
"No shit! But what fucking happened!?" He asks a little too loudly now
I rub his arm , I can feel him tense up but after my touch he relaxes a bit
"We were in a cab going to the store and the cab driver I don't even know exactly but before I knew it there was a semi truck crashing to the side of the cab" she's crying now "Michelle was on that side , she was bleeding uncontrollably and unconscious and I don't want anything to happen to my baby"
Michael rushed to her side and hugged her
I can tell Michael was fighting his tears
A few minutes passed still no news
A few minutes turned into an hour
An hour turned into two
"Parents of Michelle Clifford!" A doctor speaks out
We all rush up to him
Michael grabs my hand
"That's us!" Chrissy says
The doctor looks up at chrissy and Michael then his hair and back to the both of them
"She just got out of surgery , she's okay. Michelle is a very lucky girl , she has. A broken arm but lost a lot of blood due to the trucks cutting her body , I don't know what happened exactly but I know that only 10% of kids under 5 survive this type of accidents"
Both Michael and chrissy let out a huge relief sigh and thank the doctor
"I need one of you to see if you can transfer blood to your daught-"
"Me I'll do it me!" Chrissy says without letting the doctor finish
"Okay come with me " he turns to Michael " I'll let you know when you can see Michelle "
Michael nods and sits back down
"I told you she was going to be okay" I kiss his cheek
He turns to me and smiles "thank you .. So much Jackie , I know I don't deserve you but I seriously love you very much"
I peck his lips and smiles "don't worry about it , like I said in my speech, you will always be my best friend doesn't matter what happens
