Chapter 35

-Next Morning-

My legs are sore
My whole lower area is sore
Last night was amazing , even though Michaels mom caught us in plain action

I laugh at the thought of it and shake my head
I ended up arriving home 5 minutes before 3
Which saved me

I called Michael this morning to check up on how he was doing , not because of the amazing sex but because of the whole Michelle situation

I was sitting on the kitchen counter eating cereal and scrolling down my Facebook page

According to Lukes pictures he was at the graduation party with Anna

I roll my eyes and put my phone away

"Jacqueline get down from there!" My mom walks in the kitchen I jump down

"So what happened with Michael last night ?" She leans against the counter and turns to me

I choke on my cereal "what are you talking about? Nothing happened"

She looks at me oddly "honey how is his daughter, which you have to explain to me how the hell he ended up with a daughter "

"Oh.."
I tell her everything , it's time she knew everything just minus the disappearing part

At the end of the conversation we are both Crying

"I just don't know how to feel" I cry

I didn't tell her that I slept with Michael because really that's weird

"So you like Luke too .."

I nod "Lukes amazing . He can be such an ass but remember Lucifier mom!? That's him!"

"Lucifier ? You mean that adorable kid that you fought with so much?" She laughs
"Yes! "

"Wow puberty hit him hard" she laughs again "baby go with your heart , you hardly know anything about Luke, you and Michael both cheated but what do you really know about Luke? Except that he's not a great influence"

" mom but I-"

"Jackie he's sleeping with your supposedly best friend after he confessed his feelings to you, if he liked you the way he said he wouldn't be doing that to you" she says
She makes a lot of sense

"Just talk to him , if you like him don't let it be bad terms between you guys, tell him how you feel but look at reality and see who is capable of holding a real relationship "

I nod
"Thanks mom" I hug her

"Do you know what Michael is going to do with his whole daughter situation?"

I shrug and shake my head "I'm not sure "

"I'll talk to his mother to see if she tells me anything "

"That sounds go-" wait I remember she was knocking his door during sex "I mean are u sure? It's none of our business mom"

"True but Michael is like a son to me even if he betrayed this family he's still a son to me "

"You're too nice sometimes " I say

- 2 weeks later -

I haven't seen Luke in two weeks
I'm not even sure what's going on with Anna and him, Anna has been hooking up with different guys nearly every day

Michael and I have hung out everyday, hooked up a few times these two weeks

Michelle is doing okay which is good , chrissy took her to New York to live without any explanation but Michael said she always wanted to be a singer so I guess that's that

I decided to apply to UCLA and USC , all I needed to do was wait for a response and take the next step for requirements

It was 6am and I had just arrived to Santa Monica beach for my new workout technique

I do yoga for about an hour on the sunrise and then go for a 3 mile run

I try to do this everyday
I place my yoga mat on the sand and put my yoga station on my phone

I stretch a bit and begin with a seating meditation taking deep breaths

I do my down dog pose following by my plank position taking the sunrise in

It's breath taking
I look up and see luke sitting down just looking at the view

Atleast I think it's him
It probably isn't in just imagining it

I shake my head and get back to my yoga

After a few more poses I got to my cobra position , my lower half placed on the mat and my upper body straight up

My arms holding my upper body up
I inhale and exhale
"Hey" I hear a guy say
I turn around and Noones there

"Jackie!" I hear the voice say
I sit up and look around and sure thing luke was coming my way

"Hi" I say
"Hey.." He stands in front of me with his hands in his pockets

"How have you been?" I ask
"The usual " he says
"You still staying with Ash?" I ask
"Nah, got my own place" he says

I nod "that's great!"
"Yeah" he doesn't say much
"Do you want to sit down?" I scoot leaving him some space on the mat and I grab my water bottle

He sits down next to me and looks out at the view
"How are you?" He asks
"I'm good , so much better than before"
He laughs but not a good laugh
"Did you realize that once I left your life it turned back to being good?" He says

I stay quite
That's very true but I was scared of admitting it because half of me didn't believe it, maybe it was just coincidence

"Don't say that" I say
"It's true" he says
"Luke I want you to be honest with me "

"What's up" he says

I take a deep breath "do you like me? Like really like me?"

He nods "a lot actually"

I close my eyes "I like you a lot ..like really a lot" I open my eyes and look at him in the eyes "you made me feel a certain way I can't explain, you made me feel safe even if I was in danger for God knows what reason "

He smiles a bit

"Are you even capable of being in a relationship?" I ask

"I- I don't know I've never been in a relationship before " he admits

I nod "fair enough"

We stay quite a few seconds

"Did you fuck Anna again?" I ask

Maybe it was too ballzy but I didn't care

He looks at me

"Since when exactly are you asking because you already knew what happened between me and her " he says

"Since you told me you liked me which was a day before graduation"

He looks away and nods "yeah.. I'm not going to sit here and lie to you , I fucked her a few times since that day" he looks at me with hope in his eyes

I don't know what to say or how to feel
I felt broken for some reason
I knew he did but deep down I wished it was just a lie that it was all in my head
