Reality, you're forced to face reality after high school. Jobs , higher education, bills... I can do this, can i? i'll be attending UCLA not far from home. I'll get a job at starbucks, yes starbucks! or Top shop or maybe-

"Hurry up! " my sister Genesis yells.
i checked the time , 10:29 pm "wh-huh?"
"you can think of whatever it was you were thinking of later"
I hurry and finish curling her hair, she stands up and fixed her makeup.
"Are you sure you don't want to come? It'll be fun come on"
"I'll probably swing by later If Michael is up for it"
She rolls her eyes and walks out.

I have a boyfriend, his name is Michael , Michael Clifford and he's the best boyfriend. He's the most popular guy at school and throws the best parties. He's our high school's quarterback. And he-

"Jackie !" My mom yells
Ugh "what!!"
"Come down here , Anna is here "
I roll off my bed and head down the stairs.I automatically notice her blonde hair running up the stairs. She pushes me in the room and locks it. She rushes to my closet and goes through every dress I own
"Get out of that clothes and throw on a hot dress , there's a party four blocks away , some rich bad boys are throwing it"
She throws 3 different dresses on the bed
" I say the red one it's more seductive " she says
I laugh and shake my head
"Are you going to tell Michael?" she asks
"Wait should I?"
"No"
I stare at her
"What?"
"Don't get me wrong he's cool but all he does at parties is get you drunk and you ditch me"
"He's my boyfriend "
"What's your point , at least one party with just us jackie come on"
I sigh
"I'll just text him and let him know "
"That's my girl "

I shake my head and text him

"Hey babe I'm going to a party with Anna a few blocks away from home , I love you I'll text you when i get home "

"Ok, so red dress"
I grab it and head to the bathroom and I quickly do my makeup and hair
I check my phone once I'm out
1 new message
"Okay have fun I love you"

"Hey Jackie! Thought you weren't coming " I turn around and sure there was Calum, Genesis's boyfriend . I don't know what it is about him but he annoys me .. Quite a lot actually

"Hey" I murmur
I search the crowd for Anna , she was dancing with a guy a minute ago now I can't find her . I walk through the crowd, walking into drunk people , people humping each other around me , smoke everywhere .

I sigh where the hell is this bitch!

I stand on a chair searching it's 3 am, the alcohol is hitting me and I can't find her anywhere ! I feel my phone vibrate and got a text from Michael
"Are you home yet?"
"Nt h hjdtey "
Too dizzy to send a proper text
I roll my eyes and put it back in my purse. As I get down I nearly knock a lamp out
"Chill out be careful"
I turn around and come face to face to a unfamiliar face , snake bites , sleeve tattoos on both arms , eye brow piercing , tongue pierced , dimples, this guy was attractive but not my type .

"Ok yeah"
I turn around and search again
"Your friend left with a random guy"
What?
"What makes you think I came with a friend maybe I came with my boyfriend "
He laughs and shakes his head , he slides his hand in his pocket searching for something
"Sure you did, in that dress I doubt it " he pulls out a cigarette and lights it taking a puff and blowing it in my face

I stare at him who The fuck does he think he is

"Want some?" He offers me
"No that's nice of you but no " I roll my eyes
"Feisty"

I turn away
"Anyways I'm Mat"
"Hi Mark , I have to go nice meeting you"
I make my way towards the front door and walk home . Like every walk home you hear stuff , stuff that make you laugh and walk faster , moaning everywhere to be exact . The night was fresh for a summer night , the sky dark the stars at their brightest . I don't know it it was the alcohol or there was actually moans getting louder each step I took. I looked in all directions , This time I recognized the car. Black range rover , a little dog sticker on the back window .. Calum .
I rush home and text Michael
"Home x"
I was annoyed and tired I change out of my clothes and put my hair in a bun.
Why did Anna ditch me after saying it would be an "us" party, especially since I've never been to those guys parties . Not that it was any different than the others it was much more crowded and different types of alcohol.

I hear the door open and quickly put a tank top and shorts and walk out. I look down the highway and nothing. I sigh and walk back inside my room
"Hey" I feel hands on my waist and I punch the person with my elbows
"Babe wtf was that for?" I turn around and see Michael bending over holding his stomach
"Omg babe I'm sorry " I rush to him and kiss him

"It's fine" he sits on my bed and rubs his stomach "how was the party"

"It sucked Anna ditched me , had to walk home"
"Sounds like her alright " he lays down and pads the bed nodding me over
I climb up the bed and lay next to him
"Did any guy hit on you?"
I interlock our fingers and shake my head lightly
"No just a bunch of wannabes at the party thinking they're punk rock when they aren't they just dye their hair one had pink lik- oh no wait that was you"
He pulls me on top and I place my legs on his sides
"Funny" I smile and kiss him
"I missed you"
