A few hours passed by, Luke started dancing with random girls, more than one at the same time i must say. They shared kisses throughout the dance and I felt disgusted but his cake was good... real good.. and i mean the actual cake not whatever cake flavor his body has...
Me and Niall were dancing when the guy at the table who was with Wes came over.
"can i take over?" he asks Niall
Niall looks at me for permission , I could tell he didnt want to leave me with anyone I didnt trust but i nodded, ive seen him around so I have to know exactly where
"I'll be at the table if you need me" he whispers
i nod and thank him
The guy gets in front of me and moves to the beat with me, "hi" he says
"Hi, do I know you?" i ask
"you don't remember me?"
i shrug "I feel like I know you but I cant seemed to put my finger to it"
he laughs "Im Mat"
there you go, another familiar name
"I met you briefly at the party downtown some time ago and I took you and Luke to the apartment that one time too"
"oh my god you're THAT Matt!" i laugh at myself
he nods "yea, how are you?"
"im.. okay and you? staying out of trouble?"
he laughs and shakes his head "im never in trouble"
"coming from Lukes friend is hard to believe"
"hey! just because hes in bad steps it doesnt mean we are all like that"
"what bad steps? hes in bad steps?"
"so you're pregnant"
"dont change subject!" i slap his arm
"its not my place to talk about Lukes life i shouldnt have said that" he says
i nod "understandable" now i have to get to the bottom of this shit, Michael would be mad if i talk to Luke again but I wont let Luke continue in bad steps, hes a good person ... deep down , like really deep down
May and I keep dancing
"so how many months are you? 8?"
"im not that big!" i laugh "5"
"how is Luke with all of this? is he ready to be a dad?"
I stop dancing and look at him "Lukes not the father"
"he isnt?" he stops too
i shake my head "its my boyfriends"
"Nialls your boyfriend?" he laughs
i shake my head "he - hes uhm .. he pas-"
"jackie!" i turn around and see a drunk Luke
my heart was beating fast just as the thought of telling someone that Michael is no longer with us
i feel relief when Luke interrupted but hes drunk so I know whats going to happen next
Luke hugs me tight trying to balance himself
"im so happy you came, I love you" what the hell
"Luke you dont love anyone" i try to stand him up
he laughs "you're that exception"
my heart is beating fast again but this time because of Luke
"oh god you dont know what youre saying"
