Both Louisa and Mina gasped loudly upon hearing the revelation. They looked into each other and just like teenagers, they shrieked as they held each other's hands. Everyone in the auditorium is now staring at both of them while Nico covered his face, melting in the chair in embarrassment.
"Okay. Settle down girls." The GM said in a calm happy voice. "So yes, we are very fortunate to grab this opportunity. Their stage director found our company's work and he thinks that our art style suits the theme that BTS is planning to present on stage. This will give us a chance to be their partner prod company for future shows and music videos.."
Mina squeezed Louisa's arm when she heard BTS once again. Louisa on the other hand realized that her thoughts of leaving the company were instantly forgotten when she heard the complete announcement.
Lou found BTS when she was just a struggling poor 17 year-old with multiple part-time jobs. Her step-mom decided to stop supporting her education when her dad died after she graduated from middle-school. But she didn't want to stop studying.. She had to send herself to school while earning for her and her younger siblings. BTS has been her source of strength and inspiration since then.
The opportunity of working with them is very thin even for a company as big as CGF. She will have zero chance of ever getting this chance if she goes solo.
"Well. That's it for this announcement. Each of your department heads will coordinate with you on the concepts and everything that is needed to prepare you with this project." The GM concluded the meeting and the artists flocked out of the auditorium.
The three of them stayed seated still absorbing the news. Mina, being the fangirl that she is, started jumping up and down. Nico is pressing his temples while looking at Lou who seemed to be in her own world. "What are the odds." Nico thought to himself. His chance with Louisa is getting thinner and thinner.
"Hey, you three." Someone from the stage called them out.
"Oh. We're leaving now, ma'am. Sorry." Nico stood up and gestured for the other two to get the fuck out of there.
"No. Come over here." Yuna signalled them to come closer.
They hesitantly walked over to the stage looking like they're about to get scolded.
Yuna went down the stairs to meet them halfway.
"What's with the look?" Yuna asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"I thought we were violating something..." Mina's words trailed off.
"Oooohh. No you sillies! I was just happy that I got to see you again. I'm always everywhere but here, to look for new young bloods, you know." Yuna's bright smile flashed across her face.
They eased up upon hearing this and they exchanged her smile with awkward laughs.
"About the new project," Louisa jerked her head up evidently wanting to hear more."...you guys are the perfect people to go with the crew abroad. We'll have some of the equipment and stage props made here but a lot of the other things needed should be done where the stage would be set up. I am confident of your skills and I'm recommending the three of you to your department heads."
"OH MY GOD!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!" Mina shouted in excitement. "GUYS DID YOU HEAR THAT?!" she grabbed both of her friends' arms as she couldn't contain her excitement.
"Yes. We're literally just side by side with you Min." Nico sarcastically said while brushing off her grip on his arm.
"But, Ms. Percy...Ms. Yuna..I'm truly grateful for the trust you have in us but I'm just curious why...why us?" Louisa curiously asked in a low voice. This direct appointment has made her head spinning as this would greatly affect her career plans.
"Well...I scouted the three of you. I know you more than anyone else in this company. I even knew your backgrounds before I contacted you guys. So my trust in you has a basis. I expect you to do your best because this is a VERY rare opportunity." Yuna reiterated her last sentence,
"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU MISS PERCY!" Mina squealed in delight. Nico rolled his eyes but respectfully bowed to thank Yuna as well. Louisa is still dumbfounded and just stared at Yuna's face.
"I have to go now." Yuna waved to them as she walked through the back door. "Good luck!"
"Let's gooooo.." Mina held their arms and dragged them out of there.
"We'll do our bestest, right? Let's make each other proud! I love you both!" Mina said in full delight before she pranced her way to her own department as it is the one nearest the auditorium, leaving Nico alone with Louisa. Nico noticed how Louisa was so unusually silent.
"What's wrong, Lou? Aren't you happy? This is BTS. You will get to see them in person, you will get to see HIM in person." Nico asked out of curiosity and a hint of sarcasm.
"I'm happy. I truly am. In fact I'm overwhelmed right now! But, I just didn't imagine this happening while I'm cooking up my own plan." Lou thought that was too much information as she wasn't planning on telling them any sooner.
"Plans? What plans? Wait. Were you planning on quitting? Is that what it is? Is it the reason why you thanked us over and over when you were drunk?" Nico grabbed Lou's arm to stop her from walking.
"I was gonna tell you guys." Her voice was filled with guilt. "But...I...can't let go of this opportunity. I need some time to think, okay?" she walked away gesturing to Nico that she needed some time alone and found her way up to the rooftop. She needed air and space to think this through. She breathed in the late afternoon breeze and gazed at the sky.
"Is this something bigger than your own dreams, Lou?" She asked herself, as she recalled all the hardships she went through and all the tormenting moments she suffered.
She was able to withstand everything by swearing to herself that she will also persevere just like how these artists endured their own adversities. Their music became her comfort during her sorrows, their message became her rock through hopeless times and their hilariously chaotic individuality pacified her cries.
She let out a tiny chuckle as she recall their lunacy, thinking if they can be as crazy in a normal working day.

"What are they like, as people, as bosses, or as...workmates?"Her heart raced at the thought; excitement filling up her mind.
To have the chance to work with them with the talent she's gifted with in itself is incredibly rare. To actually be a part of their grandiose work, even how small that part can be, will be priceless. It's a once in a lifetime experience she wouldn't probably get if she let go now.
Louisa sighed as she admired the setting sun, creating a beautiful orange horizon.

"The sun will surely rise again tomorrow. My own sunrise will come, that's for sure." she smiled as she let go from the grasp of her own ambitions..for now.
