Chapter 3: Duellum

Emiko

Emiko: "YOU WHAT?!?!"

Connor had just told me about the deal he made with the strongest Demigod in the school, Siyuka, and I was pissed. We were in the Greek wing of the school, inside the giant Pantheon. By we, I mean Kaito, Himari, Angel, Connor and I. We were relaxing in the relaxation area, which was a bunch of couches and chairs. However Connor was probably the only one relaxing, which I still don't get how that's possible. He is either really brave or really stupid, I'm going for the second option.

Emiko: "First day here and you're already picking fights"

Connor: "Okay, what would you have done?"

Emiko: "Probably beat her at her own game. She likes to talk sh*t, and I bet I could've beaten her"

Connor: "Well, I don't have the 'verbal prowess' you have"

Angel: "T-This is really bad..."

While pretty much everyone got their own chair, Connor was on the couch, with Angel sitting next to him. Connor didn't give me many specifics on what happened, but I got the gist of it. Siyuka was being a b*tch to Angel, and he stood up for her. Don't get me wrong, I'm proud, but based on what I heard, it was a stupid move.

Emiko: "How bad exactly?"

Kaito: "They made a blood deal, once made, neither can back out. And after, depending on the deal, the loser will be forced to follow through with the deal"

Connor: "I won't lose, I'll make sure to take her down"

Emiko: "You'll never change..."

Connor: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Emiko: "You always run into things without thinking"

Kaito: "Do you even know how to use your powers?"

Connor: "A little difficult since I don't know who my God parent is"

I turned to Himari and Kaito.

Emiko: "I've been wondering, who are your parents?"

Saito: "My dad is Sobek, the Egyptian god of water and the Nile"

Connor: "Makes sense"

Himari: "I'm the daughter of Loki"

Emiko: "LOKI?!?!"

Connor: "Like, the Norse god of magic?"

Emiko: "More like the god of mischief"

Himari: "I only get my powers from him, nothing else"

Kaito: "I guess you didn't get his intelligence"

Himari punched Kaito in the arm, making me laugh a little.

Himari: "Oh my gods! She laughs!"

Emiko: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Himari: "I've never seen you laugh"
