Draco waited for Saturday to come and felt like time was just dragging on slower and slower.

He's practiced many times in front of a mirror of all the possible ways he could start up a conversation with Joy.

How he would begin to apologize.
Ask for her forgiveness.
Hope that she'll take him back.
How he'll yell at her for snogging—

He tries not to think about that as much... as he realizes he needs to control his temper.

One night while trying to go to sleep, in hopes that if he sleeps longer, then Saturday would come quicker, he's overheard voices coming from the hallway outside of his room. All familiar voices.

He got up from his bed and quietly snuck to his door and peeked his head out to see bodies turn the corner to the meeting room.

He quietly makes his way over to the meeting room to hear the conversation happening on the other side of the door:

"It's unimaginable, my Lord." Bellatrix explains, "How could they escape from Joy? At the fault of pathetic Pettigrew?" Bellatrix snaps her head in the direction of the feared rat-faced man.

Pettigrew stutters, "I-I woke up petrified at the b-bottom of the stairs to the ba-basement..."

Bellatrix rolls her eyes, "I had that mudblood begging for mercy until Joy interrupted me!" She begins to throw a tantrum.

Voldemort turns to Lucius, "What do you say?"

Lucius doesn't look at the Dark Lord in the eyes but responds, "I-it's possible that I may have overheard Joy in Draco's be-bedroom one day."

Voldemort stares at Lucius then faces Bellatrix and Pettigrew. He calmly responds, "Joy is of no threat to us. She knows where her loyalties must lie."
There were a few seconds of silence before he goes on, "Is that... all you have summoned me for?"

"Yes, my Lord."

Voldemort bellows, "What a waste of my time."

Draco retreated from the door and ran back to his bedroom as quickly and quietly as possible.
Everyone is growing suspicious of Joy and he needs to warn her.

Saturday needs to come by quicker.

Even if I can't manage to get to the sex part, snogging is still just as fun.

Ok, I lied... it's not the same, but it's a happy medium. A temporary distraction, if you will.

The past few days have been mediocre. It's nice that the Carrows finally leave me the hell alone, but now sneaking around isn't quite fun anymore.

I went down to the Great Hall for some dinner and saw Neville sitting with Ginny Weasley, so I decided to join them.

"Hey guys. Happy Saturday!"

Ginny leans over to me, "Rosie... why are you sitting here?"

I shrug my shoulders, "Cause I feel like it?" I lean over the table and pop a grape into my mouth.

I turn to Neville who looks like he's been dragged through mud, "What happened to you?"

Neville stays quiet, possibly still traumatized from whatever he went though, so Ginny explains to me, "The Carrows tried to get them to do the Cruciatus curse on each other. Direct orders from your father."

My mouth dropped, the Cruciatus curse?
Why would he—

Oh! He's trying to make everyone remember.

I try to play it cool, "...Maybe he had a good reason to."
They both look at me shocked, "You're joking, right?"

I shrug my shoulders, "Maybe he does? I don't know. He doesn't tell me everything."
I could tell that they were now uncomfortable with my presence, so I sighed and told them I'll just at the Slytherin table for now.

I walked over to where Blaise and the Goons were sitting and sat in the empty seat.

Blaise asks, "What was that about?"

I pile food onto my plate, "Just pestering about my father. What else is new?" I start to scarf down my food and dinner drags on.

-

Snape excused himself early from dinner as it was nearing 8 o'clock.
He instructed for the Carrows to watch over dinner as he had other things to attend to.

He glided down the corridors up to his office as he patiently wait for his expected guest to arrive.

Draco was as prompt as ever. As soon at the clock struck 8 o'clock, he apparated into Snape's office, and saw Snape sitting behind his desk.

"Mr. Malfoy, have a seat." Snape motions to the empty chair in front of him.
Draco unbuttons his jacket before sitting down.

"This is a one night only accommodation. It is imperative that no one else knows that you are on school grounds, for the safety of yourself and others." Snape begins to explain, "Is that understood?"

Draco nods.

"I must also inform you that although I have promised Joy to protect you, I will always protect her first. So that does not mean I can't... torture you in the meantime for breaking her heart. Is. That. Clear?" Snape doesn't blink as he threatens Draco, who gulps down on his saliva and slowly nods.

"Very well," Snape stands, "You may wait for her in her dorm. She rooms alone. Miss Greengrass did not return to Hogwarts this school year." Draco stands up from his chair, but Snape grabs his attention, "Just her room, no where else."

Draco nods and immediately disapparates across the castle to the Slytherin girls dormitory.

-

It was nearing the ending of dinner. I didn't eat as much as I thought I would. I was too distracted by the attention I was getting from the Slytherin boys.

I was flirting with a few of them when Blaise suddenly asks out of the blue, loud and clear, "Have you heard from Malfoy lately?"

I scowl at him, knowing what he's trying to do. I sweetly reply, "Haven't heard from him for a while now... sucks for him." I turn my attention back to the boys.

Blaise looks to the Goons and motions for them to make everyone scram.
The Goons immediately stood up and pushed the boys away from me, sending them to fall off of their seats.

I gasp and look to the duo with rage, "Idiots! What the hell?"
They say nothing and return to their seats.

I turn to Blaise, "Rude much?"

Blaise chuckles, "I don't think Malfoy would appreciate his girl flirting with other guys when he isn't here. I'm just doing what any best friend would do."

I scoff and stand up, "For the last time... there is nothing going on between Draco and I!"

I stormed toward the doorway of the Great Hall when I bump into Montague.

"Rosie! I've been looking for you!" Montague smiles and rubs the back of his neck, "How about we finish what we started the other day?"

I grin and look back to Blaise who was already staring at me, shaking his head. I tell Montague, "My room?"

He smirks, "Lead the way."
