We go back to school today.

Father had to return to work, so he's was unable to drop me off the Kings Cross. I didn't mind this time though, I spent enough time with him during the holidays that would last me with happiness for a while.

I walked with Binky to Platform 9 3/4, before meeting up with Narcissa and Draco near the train. I bid Binky farewell as Draco and I boarded the train together.

We received lots of stares and glances while looking for a carriage. We left Hogwarts hating each other and now we're hanging out again. Imagine everyone's reaction when they hear about the engagement.

We found an empty carriage and quickly filed in. Draco stored my bags above us for me, and I settled in.

Naturally, I sat across of him. He looked at me and scoffs, "Come on, love. I don't bite."

I roll my eyes at him and continue to look out the window. He sits next to me and wraps his arm around my shoulder. "Come on, Joy. Just tell me, you've always liked me, huh?"

I scoffed, "I'm not answering that." He chuckles, "Alright alright. Answer this then..." He leans in closer, "What did you really smell in your Amortentia?"
I sat up straighter, "I told you, I smelled Adrian."
"That's bullshit, Joy and you know it."
I sigh, "Fine. I'll tell you if you explain yours." He nods.

"Mintapplesandyourcologne."
"What was that?"

I sigh, "I said... mint, apples, and your cologne." He claps, "I knew you smelled me! That's why you look at me that day!"
I roll my eyes, "Alright hotshot, what about you? Who in bloody hell smells fire whiskey, strawberries and freshly cut grass all at once? It must've been horrid!"

"Well, fire whiskey because that's what we were drinking the night of the Slytherin welcome party." He scooted closer to me.
"Strawberries because you always bring me strawberry tarts." He's getting closer.
"And freshly cut grass, because that's when you would sit by the lake. When the grass is freshly cut." He's basically squeezing me between him and the window right now.
"Why do your smells have such deep meanings to them?"
He smiles at the floor, "Well, Snape did say infatuation... maybe it's a deep infatuation."

I raise my eyebrows in question, "Are you trying to sweet talk me, Mr. Malfoy?" He smirks, "Perhaps... is it working, soon-to-be Mrs. Malfoy?"

Draco leans towards me, his eyes fixated on my lips. Our faces only inches apart when the carriage door slides open.

Crabbe and Goyle freeze at the sight of Draco and I. Draco whips his head around and flared at the two. "Do you two slugs not have any brains?!" They both say in unison, "Sorry Malfoy." Draco barked at them, "Find another carriage!" They nod, closed the carriage door and walked down the train.

"You didn't have to be so rude. They could've sat with us."
Draco leans in again, "What if I wanted alone time with the future Mrs. Malfoy?" I sneered at his question, "Who said I was gonna take your name?" He smirks, "My surname is far superior to yours."
I scoff, "Ha, you wish."

Draco leans in closer, looking at my lips again. I push him off of me, "The moment has passed, Draco." He leans back into his seat before saying, "Remind me to kill them."

The rest of the train ride was quick. Draco and I were just talking stories about all different kinds of things, next thing we knew.. we were back at Hogwarts.

Draco helps me off of the train as he's holding our personal bags. Students continued to stare at us, including the Golden Trio. Harry and Hermione both shot a smile my way, and I returned the favor. Ron on the other hand was still kind of judgey.

"What are you looking at, Potter? And you, filthy little Mudblood?" I whacked Draco in the stomach at his insults. "Draco!" He bends over at the impact, "Great Salazar, Joy! What was that for?!" I turn to Harry and Hermione who half-heartedly smiled at my annoyance with Draco before they walked to the castle.

"Be nice, Draco. They didn't do anything to you." I helped him to stand up again. "Is this how it's gonna be? You telling me to do things and I'm just supposed to listen?" Draco fixes his jacket. I look at him in complete confidence, "Pretty much, yeah."

He rolls his eyes and motioned for me to walk towards the castle.
