The weather had a drastic shift from the cool breeze of autumn, to the blistering cold of winter.
Snow began to fall and it soon has inches of snow covering the ground everywhere you looked.

It was nearing Christmas as all the student of Hogwarts began to get ready to go home.

I had to stop by the Gryffindor common room and see Neville on behalf of Luna, before meeting with Snape to leave the castle.

If there was one place where I was judged the most... was Gryffindor House.

Honestly, the only Gryffindors that actually liked Rosie... where the Trio and Neville. I was more likable as Joy, rather than Rosie.

I waited outside their painting until I saw Neville get out.

"Neville!" I wave him over. He smiles, "Hey Rosie!"

A few younger Gryffindor eyes me out as they walked by.
I smirked, "Fix your face before I fix it for you." They quickly looked away and walked faster away from me.

"Goodness, Rosie. You're quite scary sometimes." Neville takes a step away from me.

I giggle, "I'd never hurt you, Neville. Not intentionally, anyway." Neville nervously laughed but eventually relaxed.

"I wanted to give you this." I held out a small gift box addressed to him. I begin to explain, "I'm sorry Luna isn't here, but I felt like she would want you to have this." Neville smiles and takes the box from my hands, "Thanks Rosie."

Actually, Luna specifically told me what to get for Neville since she's still held captive at the Manor. She got him a rare Herbology book that she knew he was in search for. It's very cute at how smitten they are for each other.

"Have a nice Christmas, Neville." I wave him goodbye and I began to turn away and head for Snape's office.

I got to his office, which was locked for the first time in... ever.

I knocked on the door and was greeted by Boy Carrow, while Girl Carrow was standing off to the side in the office.
I don't bother with addressing them by their actual names, because they irritate the fuck out of me, so I don't care enough to even try.

"Rosie." Boy Carrow greets me.

"Boy Carrow."

He sneers, "It's Amycus."

I scoff, "I don't care. Now move."

He whispers as I pushed past him, "May I remind you that we are in charge of punishment?"

I reply back, loudly, "May I remind you that I couldn't give a single fuck? I'd like to see you try and punish me."
I raise my eyebrows in taunt as I see him huff and turn to Snape.

"You both know your new duties once we return from the holidays. You are dismissed." Snape waves them away as they both leave.

As soon as the door closes behind them, I turn to Severus who already begins to scold me, "Watch that attitude." I roll my eyes, "Yes, Father."

I walk towards Severus and hold out a gift bag for him to see, "Merry Christmas, Uncle Sevy. Since I'm staying at the estate for the holidays, I wanted to give you your gift early."

He eyes out the gift bag as he cautiously takes it from me, but I warn him, "You can't open it until Christmas, ok?" He nods.
