This was just written randomly.

We were once in this huge puzzle of black and white me being the one grey piece in the middle between the two sides, I was the buffer as many would put it. But then I found out there was another side to the puzzle one above a brown patch and when I found that someone came down and ripped all of the puzzle pieces apart but despite that some of the white stayed together and so did some of the black the brown didn't budge as if they hadn't noticed the shift; when some of the stories were told and more things made sense every puzzle piece was in their place well not the grey that one was stuck on the outside and even though the black and white both beckoned for the grey to come back the grey piece tried and failed to fit back into its old spot where it was once so comfortable was now so claustrophobic. The grey piece didn't want either side to feel bad about how it didn't belong so it lied Don't worry about me Mrs. White or you either Mr. Black I'm just fine over here. Grey lied so they'd all feel comfortable while silently searching for a place that would be a good fit, and sadly the search is still ongoing...
