I head over to a seat "oh no I don't mean here I mean I'm my apartment it's just upstairs if your comfortable with that?" I stare at this man he seems nice enough "yeah sure that's perfectly fine". We walk up the stairs together fumbles with the keys smiling back at me then it opens "ladies first" mocking i curtsy "thank you kind sir" I say we both laugh walking in the door. "Oh I should introduce myself I'm ted" I shake teds hand "great to meet you ted my name is Crystal" he smiles looking me up and down "wow Crystal what a lovely name" he pauses and gazes into my eyes smiling he looks at the ground thinks then turns to the kitchen opening the fridge "so we have a big menu of...beer? Or beer..OH or this sour milk? What do you want" I laugh back at him "uhh ohhh hard decision mhm I'll take a beer" he chuckles handing me the cold beer I crack it open taking a sip.
Hours go by like seconds I look down at my watch and stand up quickly "oh jeez it's 3am I better go sorry ted" he stands up and stops me "wait wait please give me like five minutes" I smile at him weakly "okay quickly what is it?" "Listen Crystal I'd be lying If I said there isn't something there between us correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not crazy am I?" I look at ted taken back by that statement I stumble over my words "ted no..ted your not crazy but this is just not what I'm looking for I mean..We have only spent a couple hours together and I'm new here I just don't think that would work out right now".
Ted gazes into my eyes I can tell the disappointment projected on his face he exhales heavily "okay okay let's make a deal a couple of months...Christmas we hang out until Christmas you meet my friends we have fun a need if these feelings haven't left and we're both single?" I smile up at him picking my jacket up "yes okay that would be nice ted" ted smiles back wildly "okay meet at MacLarens tomorrow 3pm?" I nod in agreement and ted walks me out.
