Slowly you feel the warm sun on your face
Then the lakes get warm
Late night swimming
Bonfires
S'mores
Midnight kisses
Late nights sneaking out
Summer loves
Belly laughs
Endless happiness
Sunshine
Freshly mowed grass
Carnival food
Tan lines
Then,
it slowly goes away
Days get shorter
Nights are longer
Colder
But
I live for those days
When the world is so quiet and you can feel the peace in the air
I wait for the leaves to be burning in the air
The crisp smell in the air
Slight chills you get sometimes
Sweater weather
Warm spices
The love from certain people
Calmness
Peace
Cannot wait for those days
Only a bit longer and I can feel all the peace in the world
Maybe you got a time when you feel the way I do when that time comes
