Make her Happy

Margarite looks at the sky.
Everything will change from now on.
Her father is determined to find out who are those people that were trying to break their family apart.

"How are you?" Thompson walked slowly behind her and held her hand.

Margarite blushes but she didn't take her hand back.
They are alone in the garden so she thinks that it will be alright.
They are in the Swan's garden.
When Kaorin lost consciousness Thompson is the one who carried him.

Margarite kept clinging on Thompson for support as she was losing her mind in panic and fear.
They are finally getting closer.
She feared that if something happens again...her and Kaorin relationship will never be fixed anymore.
But Thonpson endures her.
He coaxes her and relieves her.
His calm voice and his firm tone eased her troubled heart.

For her...Thompson, in that moment, is her strength.

The two sit down on a bench.
Thompson fixes her hair that fell in her face.
Margarite shyly stares at Thompson's serious face.
And Thompson stares back at her.

"You are lovely." He said and he pressed his forehead to hers.
"I want you even more."

Margarite blushes. She raises her two hands and touches Thompson's cheeks.

The wind blows and the flower petals break and sway to the air as the two share their first kiss.

Thompson looks at Kaorin in the bed.
Kaorin looks at Thompson.

"I never like you." He said.

Thompson laughs.
"How are you?"

"I heard from Margarite. Thank you for carrying me." Kaorin said and pointed at the seat near the bed.

Thompson sits down.

"You know that the Swan Family still wants Margarite to be the crown princess, right?"

"Of course. Politically speaking. It is the best choice." Thompson smiles.
"Why are you saying this to me?"

"You know the ins and outs of our family. My mother and I were subjected to a curse and we hurted Margarite too badly. She never has our support and love while growing up."

Thompson lips twitched but he decided to heave a sigh.
"Yeah."

"My father decided never to force Margarite into marrying for political reasons. Even if our family is to fall down. We refuse to make her sad anymore."
Kaorin stares at Thompson.
"Will you….make her happy?"

Thompson licks his lips.

"I am unable to make her happy every second of her life...But I can offer my whole life in return for those times I can't make her happy."

Kaorin laughs 
"That is enough."

"Kaorin.."

"Hmmm?"

"She needs you and your whole family. She might be in pain and blame you now. But I hope you don't give up on her."

Kaorin smiles.
"We gave her up before. But we are no longer under a spell. We will never give her up again. That is what I am sure of."

Thompson nods.
"Who do you think are those people?"

Kaorin paused and his lips twitched.
"Do you know the history of the fallen kingdom?"

"The fallen Kingdom of Everose?"
Thompson frowns.

"Yeah. Do you know about the Demon that kills people to get their blood?"

"Yes. The Prince of Everose."

"Hmmm...They are trying to resurrect his soul, I believe."

"What?"
Thompson has a horror expression.
