The Truth

Leah is sleeping in the bed and grumbling in her sleep.
In her dream, she was in a very dark place.
Drip.
Drop.
Drip.

Leah frowns and follows the sound.
She gasps and finds Kaorin. His big brother's small body on a cross as his blood is dripping down.

"Brother! No...no….Brother wakes up!"

Leah tries to run to the cross but it gets farther and farther. She is unable to get near him.

A two cloak men stands before her brother.

"He is rejecting the spell. What a tough boy."

"We can't let him reject it. He needs to remember hating his sister."

The boy's eyes slowly open a bit.
"I….wil...l...not h-hate...my sis...ter…"

"Cheeky boy. If you are that tough then you leave me with no choice. Hey, put a black stone in his heart."

"Won't that kill him?"

"Hehehe. Of course not  but the more he loves his sister. The more he will get mad and angry at her. He will be unable to help it."

"Good. Good."

Leah watches it with shock and horror.
How his brother fought but eventually succumbs to the evil men.

After that the dream shows her mother.
Her mother pleads and begs.
But she too was transplanted with the black stone.

They will hate Margarite Swan. The more they love her. The more they will hate her.

Margarite cries and cries and she keeps on running forward to reach them.

"Mom! Brother!"

Yuri wakes Leah.
Leah is trembling as she rubs her face to Yuri's chest.

"What's wrong? Having a nightmare?"

Sniff***
Leah nods.
But it is too realistic to be a dream.
Leah hugs Yuri.
"Do not leave me Yuri….I need you."

Yuri feels his heart clenching.
He wipes her face full of tears.

"Fine. You know I will stay..Tsk. Come here." He hugs Leah and helps her lay down the bed.
"Sleep. I will stay here and watch over you."

Leah hugs his waist.
"Promise?"

"Hmm.." Yuri can barely hear his own voice because his heart is making a loud thumping sound.

On the other side both Kaorin and Arisa wake up from a long nightmare.
The black stone has melted and it no longer clouded their head and heart..

Arisa burst into tears as she recalls what she did all her life toward her lovely daughter.
She blames her weak heart for not being able to withstanding the power of the black stone.

Kaorin is no different than her.
He is mad and startled and he was unable to speak.
He always finds it strange.
Everytime he tried to think about Margarite he would be in pain and distracted.
But when he thinks of saying bad words to her, his heart will be uneased and calm.
Now he is in a lot of mess.
How can he call himself a brother?

Margarite is walking left and right to the door.
Waiting for her father to come out and tell her what is happening.

Justin is struck dumb upon hearing his wife and son ordeal.
The two were actually suffering under his own watch and he just finds out.
How can people be too cruel?
They never hurt anyone before. They are not bad people. So why does his family have to suffer?

"Margarite….please call her." Arisa begs.

Justin looks at his weak wife and nods.

Margarite enters the room.
Her mother told her everything.
Margarite is crying but she is happy.
She is happy for the original Margarite.
Because it is not true that she was hated.
It only shows that deep in her mother and brother's heart...they love her deeply.
