Jared Cockrell, a two-time assistant captain at Colgate University has decided to take his talents to Minnesota and join the St. Cloud State Huskies. Jare had 23 goals, 29 assists for a total of 52 points for the Hamiltonians, and brings a scoring presence to a team that is in dire need of a scoring presence. Cockrell will wear number 21 for the Huskies next season and we'll cover everything he does in Minnesota. I'm glad Cockrell gets one last ride as a player in college hockey and St. Cloud is a great choice for a guy like Jared to go and develop in that ruckus arena. Jared, I'll always love you and have a blast in St.Cloud and we'll update Raider Nation on your endeavors as a husky. Thanks for the memories, my good man!
