He scored 5 goals, 17 assists for a total of 22 points during his time in the maroon and white. Paul Meyer has elected to sign a professional hockey contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. The Solar Bears are the ECHL affiliate of Tampa Bay Lightning and are getting a dominating defensive presence. Paul blocks shots more frequently than he takes a breath I mean this guy is gigantic. You aren't getting a ton of the offensive side of the puck but he will be a dangerous defensive threat for your opponents. Paul Meyer is one of the best defensive players I've seen in my modern life. Congratulations Paul, I hope I see you at Amalie Arena someday bud.
