After a heartbreaking weekend last week, the Colgate Raiders will finish the regular season with the north country in town Clarkson and St.Lawrence at Class Of 1965 Arena for the final time this regular season. Mitch Benson and Frank Marrotte match zeros in the first period so we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 3:04 left in the second period Adam Tisdale scored to make it 1-0 Tech. Benson and Marotte match zeros for the remainder of the period so Clarkson will take a 1-0 lead to a crucial third period. With 4 seconds left in the third period Tyler Penner scored and we've got ourselves a tie hockey game 1-1! Mitch Benson and Frank Marrotte match zeros for the remainder of regulation and wouldn't you know it we've got an extra session of college hockey because of a 1-1 tie. Mitch Benson and Frank Marrotte match zeros in overtime so Colgate and Clarkson skate to a 1-1, overtime tie. Colgate goes to 10-16-7 on the season and 8-9-4 in ECAC Hockey play! Colgate will play at home in the ECAC Hockey first round!
