After the holiday break, the Colgate Raiders take a trip to Columbus, Ohio to play the number seven nationally ranked Ohio State Buckeyes in a two game weekend series. With 16:45 left in the first period Griffin Lunn scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 8:09 left in the first period Matt Miller scored on the power play to tie the game 1-1. Andrew Farrier and Tommy Nappier match zeros for the remainder of the period so we'll head to the first intermission dressing room tied 1-1. With 18:10 left in the second period Tyler Jeanson scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate. Farrier and Nappier match zeros for the remainder of the period so your Colgate Raiders lead 2-1 into the second intermission dressing rooms. With 11:02 left in the third period Tanner Laczynski scored to tie the game 2-2. With 3:12 left in the third period Tanner Laczynski scored his second goal of the night to make it 3-2 Buckeyes. Tommy Nappier gets some help from his All-American teammate and Ohio State survives 3-2. Colgate drops to 7-8-4 on the season heading into the series finale tomorrow afternoon.
