Tyler Penner was born and raised in Winnipeg,Manitoba and is the son of Kevin and Tracy Penner. Penner took his talents to the Steinbach Pistons of the MJHL where he produced 79 goals,77 assists for a total of 156 points in 168 games for Steinbach. Like his classmates, Tyler stepped onto Colgate's campus in August of 2016 and the rest is history. In 131 games for the maroon and white, Penner produced 12 goals, 13 assists for 25 points over his 131 career games for the Raiders. Majoring in economics, Penner will graduate in May.
