After a dominating win last night, the Colgate Raiders head to Hamden,Connecticut to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats to wrap up the weekend series in ECAC hockey play at People's United Center. Andrew Farrier and Kieth Petruzzelli match zeros in the first period so we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie for the second consecutive game. With 12:56 left in the second period Peter DiLiberatore scored on the power play to make it 1-0 Quinnipiac. With 12 seconds left in the second period Tyler Jeanson scored his second goal of the season to tie the game 1-1. Farrier and Petruzzelli match zeros for the remainder of the period so the Raiders and the Bobcats skate to a 1-1, second intermission tie. With 19:43 left in the third period Wyatt Bongiovanni scored to make it 2-1 Bobcats. Kieth Petruzzelli was just a little too good and Quinnipiac escapes with a 2-1 win over the Raiders. Colgate drops to 9-11-6 on the season and 7-4-3 in ECAC Hockey play heading into an intriguing weekend next week.
