After a perseverant weekend last weekend, the Colgate Raiders take their final road trip of the season as they venture to Providence to play the Brown University Bears at Meehan Auditorium on Friday night. Andrew Farrier and Gavin Nieto match zeros in the first period so we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 15:34 left in the second period Colin Burston scored to make it 1-0 Brown. With 9:12 left in the second period Trey Dodd scored short handed to make it 2-0 Bears. With 7:59 left in the second period Paul McAvoy scored his ninth goal of the season on the power play to make it 2-1 Bears. Farrier and Nieto match zeros for the remainder of the period so Brown takes a 2-1 lead into the second intermission. With 7:05 left in the third period Cole Quisenberry scored to make it 3-1 Bruno. Gavin Nieto holds the Raiders off the scoreboard and Brown picks up a crucial two points with a 3-1 win over Colgate. The Raiders drop to 10-15-6 on the season and 8-8-3 in ECAC Hockey play.
