Paul Meyer was born and raised in Edina, Minnesota and is the son of Rich and Annie Meyer. In high school, Meyer helped lead his team to the 2014 Minnesota State high school championship. In 2015, Meyer graduated from high school and elected to play juniors for the Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the BCHL. In his 58 games with the Bulldogs, Meyer put up 8 goals, 26 assists for a total of 34 points as he proved himself a reliable option on both sides of the puck. After juniors, Meyer elected to play hockey at Colgate University where he continued to be a great piece on both sides of the puck. In 140 games with the Hamiltonians, Paul Meyer put up 5 goals, 17 assists for a total of 22 points in the maroon and white uniforms. Majoring in political science, Meyer will graduate in May from Colgate University. Ladies and gentlemen number two Paul Meyer! I hope you succeed away from Colgate.
