"Bye boys, I'll see you later," Katie declared before leaving for the day. Looking up from his food bowl, Max let out a bark. Duke soon barked too. The two dogs didn't know whether or not if she heard them. Eating his food, Max noticed that his brother Duke had just finished. Licking up the pieces that had gotten on the floor, the mutt let out a loud belch and murmured, "Excuse me."

"You're excused- hey, wait! Where do you think you're going?!" Max cried. He was saying that last part because Duke had just left. The mutt didn't say a word as he hopped down onto the fire escape and descended down the steps. Quickly gobbling up the rest of his food, Max ran as fast as he could to the window. Racing down the steps, he stopped when he got to Snowball's apartment.

Inside his apartment, Snowball just finished his carrot breakfast when he heard someone pounding on the window. "Tattoo, really?" the white rabbit muttered under his breath as he bounded over. Instead of the pig though, he found Max. Opening the window, he questioned, "Tiny Dog, what are you doing? What's going on?"

"Duke just left. I thought you and I could go see where he goes everyday," Max explained. He really wanted to get to the bottom of this cuz it was getting ridiculous now. Duke was constantly gone and he was getting sick of it now. He hoped that Snowball could help him. However, his hopes were crushed when the bunny replied, "Sorry pal, I'm already planning to follow someone today."

"Who?"

"Leonard and Ozone. Good luck though."

"Yeah, to you as well."
