"I swear, this guy never takes off my leash!" Max grumbled, tilting his head towards the dog walker Guillermo, who was currently talking with his girlfriend. Buddy and Duke nodded their heads in agreement with the Jack Russell terrier. Pepe was too busy chasing his tail while Mel was eating some dirt.
"He did this when we were puppies too. Happened to you once, me twice and Mel five times!" Buddy exclaimed. Duke piped up, "It's only a matter of time before he forgets me and Pepe." Hearing that, the chihuahua whimpered sadly. Quickly, the giant mutt stammered, "No no no, I didn't mean it like that Pepe!"
"Guys, I think I ate a rock!" Mel cried, his tongue hanging out of his mouth. Buddy and Max groaned in unison. Duke shook his head in disbelief when something caught the corner of his eye. Curious, he crept away, praying no one would notice. Fortunately for the large dog, his friends were busy explaining to Mel why he shouldn't be eating the dirt.
