Chapter Three

After our hike we both went back to our houses. I sat in my room thinking about everything he told me.

What am I supposed to do? He's moving to California! How the hell am I supposed to deal with everything going on at home?! He's been my rock and the one person that keeps me steady.

I don't know what I'm going to do. I love this man with all of my heart and I can't lose him.

I went into my bathroom and turned on the shower. I undressed and stood underneath the hot water. Of course then and there I start breaking down.

*One hour later*
I finally calmed down. I was laying on my bed when my phone dinged.

Are you okay? You seem off.

I'm fine. Don't worry.

Tris💕
Bullshit. I'm coming over.

No!

He left me on read and then a few minutes later he was in my room.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" He said as he flopped next to me on my bed.

"Nothing. I told you this."

"Hmm, okay. Let's see, I've know you since we were three years old. I've spent almost every single day with you. I can tell when something is wrong with you Camryn. Talk to me please."

I sat up and crossed my legs. He did the same thing but facing me.

"You're moving away to California and you're leaving me here with all of this shit. You're my best friend and-"

"And what?"

I can't tell him.

He grabbed my hands and made me look at him.

"Camryn please. It's me. You can tell me anything."

"Tristan. I don't think you understand how much this hurts me. I just. I can't lose you."

"Camryn I'm not going anywhere. I promise you this."

"Tristan. I love you."

"I love you too."

I stood up and shook my head.

"No like I love you."

He sat there smiling for a minute then his face dropped.

"Wait, are you telling me that you're in love with me?"

He stood up and walked towards me.

I looked down and nodded. The next thing I knew his hands were on my hips and he made me look at him.

"What if I told you I'm in love with you too?"

"Really?"

He smiled and shook his head laughing.

"Shut up and kiss me." He said leaning in.

We both leaned in and he kissed me.

Oh my god. His lips were so soft. When they say when you kiss someone you really love, there's fireworks. Boy, this was a whole ass show of fireworks.

He pulled away and smiled at me.

"Wow." He said smiling at me.

"Yeah."

He smiled again and kissed me again.

Tristan ended up staying with me for the night. 

"Hey Camryn?"

"Tristan?"

He ran his fingers through my hair and smiled at me.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

He kissed me goodnight and snuggled into my neck and he had his arms wrapped around my torso. I began playing with his hair and the next thing I knew, I heard his soft little snores.

"I love you Tristan Blane," I whispered and kissed the top of his head.

Of course the next thing I knew I was fast asleep with the man of my dreams in my arms.
