Tristan and I decided to go on a hike today and explore around.
"Tristan, I'm tired please let's go back home."
"No Cam! Come on. Only a little bit more to go! Please."
I looked into his big blue eyes and I was hooked. He always had that effect on me. Especially when he did his pouty face.
"Okay, fine. Let's go."
He grabbed my hand and we finished walking up the hill. Once we got up to the top I saw a picnic blanket along with our favorite foods on it.
"Tris, what is this?"
He smiled at me and placed his bag on the blanket.
"Nothing, just wanted to make you something nice for being my best friend."
"Mhm, sure."
I sat down next to him and took a deep breath of the fresh air.
"Cam,"
"Tristan."
"You know how I've been doing tik tok and I have been growing a fan base pretty well?"
"Yeah."
"Well, um I was contacted a couple days ago by popwrapped and they want me to come out to california and stay with them."
"For how long?"
"Permanently."
He's moving to California? What the f-
"You're moving to California?! What the hell?!"
"Listen, don't freak out please."
"DONT FREAK OUT?! TRISTAN YOURE MY BEST FRIEND AND YOU KNOW HOW MY HOME LIFE IS AND YOURE GOING TO LEAVE ME HERE!! ARE YOU CRAZY!"
I stood up and stared at him.
"Camryn please try to understand. This could be my only chance to follow my dreams of becoming an actor! You know how bad I want this."
He grabbed my hands and looked at me.
"Tristan, I love you and I will always support you but what am I going to do when I need you? Who am I going to talk to when dad is being an asshole to me? I,"
I can't say it. Not now.
"You what?"
I love you
"I'm gonna miss you."
"I'm gonna miss you too."
He pulled me into his arms and held me close to him. I tried my best not to cry. This boy is really all I have and I don't know what I would do without him. I can't really live without him.
