Operation Fake Out

"Hope, boss, my everything um I sorry but no," Mark shook his head.

"No?" I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Yeah no! These guys are for one untrained, two their in a actual gang, and three frankly I just don't like them," he crosses his arms not sugarcoating anything.

"I don't care what you like you couldn't do your job to set my team up before I got here so guess what I'm making my own team," I also cross my arms.

"Hope I don't think you understand that they are not what you rely on during a mission that could turn south at any moment," he turns head towards them. "Just look at how weak they look, they probably can't fight even unarmed."

"Hey I got something!" We turn towards the tech guy Ryder called out.

"Oh tell us what you got Ryder," Mark and I stop our stare down and pay attention to the mission.

"They girls are differently headed towards these hills to the east and there looks to be a mansion there," that had to be Harry's Mafia house.

"Okay, guys let's get you suited up," I push pass them out the room and they follow right behind me.

We walk into the men's dressing area where a few members were and they give their tired but respectable greetings. I walk the guys to the back of the locker room where we keep our extra uniforms. I got each of theirs ready and helped them buckle and place each piece where it has to go as they've never worn our uniforms before.

Mark walked in. "Hope I mean J please just give me another ten minutes and to find you some properly trained guys, hell I'll go," I sigh he just won't give up.

"Mark first off I call the shots so just stop, second as you said before no one is available and third I'm sure these guys no how to listen to their superior cause when it comes down to it, we really just need people who will listen and have been on the field before." Mark goes to say something but closed his mouth when I gave him a look that said the discussion was over.

"Just a least give me ten minutes to go over some simple rules and procedures," Mark suggested.

"Nope," he looked at me confused.

"Why? Shouldn't they know?" He asks.

"Okay Mark since as you can see is not the usual team we normally have so I'm just going to adjust myself to how they operate," he raised his eyebrow. "Oh Carter taught me everything already."

"Wait what about my dad? You know I actually been wanting to know why my dad and you are so close," I pay his shoulder.

"Let's save that for another time, Mark I need an one of our fast cars ready, make sure it's packed," the guys eyes went wide while Mark dialed for one of our cars to be ready.

"Maybe one of us should drive," Tyler suggested and the guys nodded while I looked confused.

"Why? I drove us all here I can drive," the looked at each other but didn't say anything else.

"The car is out front and pack with all the equipment," Mark hung up the phone and the guys followed us out the locker room.

"Okay here are your intercom systems," Mark hands us those small pieces that go in each other's ears so we could communicate with each other.

"Great everyone in the car," we hope in and I was in the driver's seat. "Hurry back to the command center so you can give me the directions," Mark gives a stiff nod and runs back to the house.
